Yay!!! It's Canada Day and it's NOT RAINING (yet hehehe). The sun is shining, and the gang is coming over for a BBQ! We're having grilled chicken or pork souvlaki & burgers for the kiddies, a GINORMOUS big salad made from my garden!!! Fun fruit skewers (i thought kids might like that???) vats of coleslaw and potato salad for those that want to indulge (i tried to make it a biiiiit lighter, but hey it's potato salad what can you do LOL), and gorgeous berries and whipped cream for dessert! should be a fun afternoon, let's hope the weather cooperates :):carrot::carrot::carrot::carrot::carrot:

I love my country. We're going for a picnic later, and just finished a round of golf...

And no rain!

Happy Canada Day!

Happy Happy Canada Day!

We're going to have roast chicken, potatoes, carrots, squash and beets. Yeah, well, we have had hamburgers twice already in the last five days! My Mom and my nephew will join us.

But then, I am going to make an angel food cake with fresh strawberries layered in--and more strawberries low fat whipped cream for a topping. I even bought my first angel food cake pan just for the occasion!

Then we'll go and see the fireworks.

Have a GREAT DAY my friends!!!!!
