Good Morning!!!
Good Morning All,
Just saying hello and telling my story. I'm a 28 year old mother of three girls, the most recent being a month and a half old. I also have 3 step-children. My husband and I own a small trucking company and I drive on occasion and take care of the paperwork. I'm currently going to school full-time to get my associates in business management. I also design jewelry and sew in my non-existant free time.
I guess that I'm looking to support here to help with my weight loss, due to the fact that I'm not getting it at home. I don't have alot of close friends after spending 4 years in the sevice, most of them are spread out and as the years go on, I realize they weren't really friends to begin with.
My husband just isn't really the supportive weight loss type. He's a big meat and potatoes kind of guy. He did try to help when he, himself got a membership to Anytime Fitness (major shock). He went 3 times and gave the membership to his ex-wife (it's ok, we're friends). So I work out with her sometimes. She lost 44 lbs on weight watchers, but it's not for me.
Me, I've been trying to lose the baby weight for about 5 years, and it doesn't help when you keep having babies!! With all the baby making done (and I mean done), I can finally lose what I've gained. Right now I'm 192. I feel pretty good about that, because I was 214 when I gave birth on Mother's Day and I was 198 before I was preggers.
I've really started to watch what I eat (lots of fruits and veggies, less red meat, more whole grains, no soda). And I try to make it to the gym a minium of 4 times a week. I'm really focusing on cardio for now and I plan to add strenght trainning as the weight starts to come off. I have a goal of anything in the 130s.
Well I guess that's a lot. I'm really hoping that the support that I get her is what is going to be what helps me meet my goal.
Thanks for listening,
Shouka
