Hi

Does anyone want to joing me on a running challenge for July? :running:

I was thinking we could set a goal of cyber running from London to Brighton - a whole 87km for the month of July.

Who is in?

I will keep a weekly total of how far everyone has travelled that week?

xxx:dizzy:xxx

I am most certainly up for that, Beckster.

I'll even convert my minutes to Km ;)

I'll start off on a treadmill then hit my road walking in about 2 weeks.

I promise not to cheat :moped:

With this and the Jumpin July we should nail our targets!

:carrot: plus :broc: plus :running: plus :tread: = :goodscale:

Okay...I did another 11km (7 miles) today. My legs feel dead. I'm increasing my mileage right now so I guess that's to be expected. Happy running! :running:

11k running? omg!! as in tread mill or actual road running?
i can do about up to 3k on the tread mill before i lose the will to live!!
but its more than when i started when all i could do was half a k... so im getting better....

Usually on a track or on the road, treadmill if the weather is truly heinous.

Don't worry. It takes time for your body to adjust to running that far. The first time I ran was as an adult and I couldn't go half a mile without stopping. If you are interested in trying to up your mileage you might look at Galloway's program which incorporates walk breaks. I was able to do my first marathon in about five hours without pain by using his walk/run program.

Anywho...today's mileage - 12 km (8 miles) :dizzy:

Okay I can't run because I have no way to measure distance but I'm going to sign up for 150 miles on the exercise bike if that's okay?
