Hi everyone! I'm a 20-something, new to 3fc, and am looking forward to getting to know all of you!
I'm getting close to the end of my degree in public health with a minor in nutrition, and want to be at a "healthy" weight for my graduation (about 10 months to go!). I took off about 30 lbs more than 5 years ago and kept them off, and have fairly healthy habits (eating and exercising), but carbohydrate-y foods just seduce me every time. I know how to do it... I know what healthy eating looks like and love healthy food... but knowing it isn't the same as doing it, sadly!
Thanks for the inspiration you've given me so far!

Hey!
I too love food and have taken nutrition classes! So you're not alone!
I wish you luck and success and hopefully you'll find as much support here as I did!
There's a section in the forum for recipes so maybe you could start there! And if you're counting calories, you can try a site like http://www.thedailyplate.com/ to help you track everything.
Good luck!

hey cherry! thats awesome! Its crazy how we all go to school everyday and learn about nutrition, but struggle to actually practice what we preach in our own lives. I am 24 and graduated college 2 years ago, got married 1 year ago, and gained 25 lbs in the past 2 years! I work for Women Infants and Children as a Nutritionist. What kind of job are you hoping to pursue with your degree?
