ok.... so i have been trying to stay off the scale lately becuase i'm not losing weight. i've been busting my butt and i usually only see like 1/2 a pound gone. that's what usually derails me..... lack of progress. but today... when i was putting on makeup... i was like "hmm... my face doesn't look as puffy today." weird. so i stepped on the scale... and 4 pounds down!!! in 5 days!!!! i'm sooooo excited! its like my body was hanging on to those pounds and just finally let them go! now i feel like i can really keep going. i know its not a huge loss... but i think its just what i needed to keep going in the right direction!
thanks for listening.... i just had to tell someone! :carrot::broc::carrot:

Sometimes it goes like that, though: you are on program but not much is changing and then WHAMMO! you lose a whole bunch of weight. And it sounds like you are even noticing changes in your form --- that is great! So whatever you have been doing,
KEEP IT UP!

Isn't that great??? I had a trainer for awhile and she said that it sometimes happens that way. Your body sometimes tries to hold on to that weight and you may hit a mini-plateau. But you can work through it and then finally your body gets to a new comfort zone and lets the weight go. (I don't know how medically sound that is, but I liked the thought)
*** Aside to Numina: I love your smilies. You have a great collection!! ***
