Today marks one month without any junk food-- no sugary food and no fast food. I know it's only a small milestone, but there were a few days when I thought I wouldn't make it another minute without sugar! Thanks to everyone who supported me :) I've lost 5 lbs this month, and I feel like I'm FINALLY on my way down the right path!

What do they say? 22 days makes a habit... or something like that. You've gone well past that, so you are doing great!

WOOT! WOOT!

One whole month without giving in to those demons of fat and sugar! You are powerful, ThinPossible --- and you grow stronger against these particular foes with every day that you ignore them.

Keep up the excellent work and let's go for two months!

Good job! Right now I am in my own struggle with the junk food/sugar fight and keep losing. Lost 30 lbs last spring and now fighting with another 30. Keep going and don't give in. I need to get past my 22 days! Your already past yours!!

It is tough! Hang in there you can do it. I found even 3 weeks in my cravings had hardly dissipated, but now, going on week 5, I only want it if I see it.

That's a good point. The seeing part. I can't remember the last time I actually craved something "off plan" until I laid my eyes on it. My cravings these days are for salads, salmon, chicken breast, veggies, fruits, etc.

The other day I was grocery shopping and saw something that I thought if I didn't have it I would literally bust. Went around that store and kept thinking should I? Shouldn't I? But I really want it. Really. REally. Really. Well luckily better heads prevailed and I got out of the place without giving into it. And of course the craving passed. As they always do.

Funny thing is, I can't even remember what it was that I saw that I wanted so badly that I thought I would faint if I didn't have it.

This is another reason it's so important to keep the junk out of the home. Out of sight - out of mind - out of our tummies. :)
