I have never been a huge yogurt fan, but then again I haven't tried many. I had bought plain flavored yogurt and it wasn't not my speed at all! I will keep eating it but I just don't like it!

Tell me what you eat!

Yoplait Key Lime Pie. Yum!

Actavia - prune or pear..... or any of them. :carrot:

I had trouble finding yogurts that weren't crammed with sugar or fake sweeteners and unfortunately I was never really successful. I like to buy the 2% or 1% plain greek yogurt and sweeten it with a small blop of honey or mashed strawberries or other fruit. One of my favorites is to sweeten it with just a tiny bit of honey and add a drop of vanilla extract a sprinkle of cinnamon and a cut up granny smith apple. Oddly, grapes are also very good mixed into yogurt.

Dannon Light & Fit. LOVE it. Though I was very upset when they reformulated it a while ago. It went from 60 calories to 80. Some of the flavors I no longer liked, but I found some others that I do. It does have artificial sweeteners in it, so it's not for everyone. But for me, it's fine.

I eat them partially frozen (takes longer to eat and is ice cream-ish) and with 1/4 cup Fiber One Cereal mixed into it. Major yumm.

Kroger Carb Master Yogurt. 3 carbs per serving, 80 calories, 1.5 g fat. Love it!! I just wish it were made without milk somehow.......like soy or something. The soy yogurts are too darn expensive for me!

I love plain yogurt and a slice of toast! MMMM! I like when it's a tiny bit tart personally.

Also if you cut up some cucumber and put it in some yogurt, then add a dash or pinch of dill (depending on how much dill you like- it's better with the dried not fresh), and a touch of salt it's a yummy yogurt salad :) Very similar to the greek sauce you put on gyros- but definitely healthier! I cut up a whole cucumber, put in a cup of yogurt- give or take- I want enough to coat the yogurt but not overwhelm, and mix in my salt and dill- HEAVEN!

0% plain Fage strained Greek yogurt, I don't need anything sweet in it other than fruit. I also love to put it into my oatmeal or cream of wheat, yumm!

Horizon low fat organic. Peach.

Fiber One yogurt, strawberry and key lime pie

Breyers light, strawberry, blueberry, peach

I haven't tried Activa and plan to change that next week.

0% plain Fage strained Greek yogurt, I don't need anything sweet in it other than fruit. I also love to put it into my oatmeal or cream of wheat, yumm!

Ditto. Well, except that I use Trader Joe brand, and 2%. The zero was chalky to me, and I'm trying to avoid the processing.

Fruits seem pretty darn sweet when you're mostly off the added sugar!

I don't eat dairy so I will occasionally eat plain soy yogurt but I always add berries, either fresh or frozen. It tastes so good. I've also bought plain coconut milk yogurt but thought it was a bit too sweet.

06-24-2009, 03:05 PM
I'm not a huge yogurt fan. I do like Kefir, though. It's more like a drink.

I have found that I love greek yogurt. I buy the Fage 2% & add agave nectar, wild blueberries, and cinnamon. It's one of my favorite breakfasts or dessert. It's less tangy and much creamier than regular yogurt. The protein content is also higher.

Activia si so creamy and doesn't taste like its good for you but it is. It's only 1oo cal and good for the pipes. The Raspberry is my fav.

I love dannon light and fit...like Robin I was a bit upset to see it go from 60 to 80 calories. I either eat that or the strawberry weight watchers yogurt...it just depends on which one my local grocery has in stock :)

06-24-2009, 05:04 PM
I LOVE Fage.

It's really good with frozen blueberries and toasted almonds with a Tablespoon of protein powder in the morning. Especially right now. It is SO hot!

06-25-2009, 05:08 PM
Ok so today I took my plain yogurt and added a little vanilla flavor, kashi, blueberries, and strawberries. It was yummy!

Nancy's Organic Honey Yogurt, plain and full fat. LOVE it with Flax Plus granola :)

06-25-2009, 09:35 PM
I also LOVE the Fage greek yogurt SO much better than plain. It has no sweeteners in it - sugar or otherwise. I like to take unsweetened yogurt and sweeten it as I like.

I stirred blueberries into it today, but honey makes a good yogurt sweetener too. And it keeps me full for a loooooooog time.

I'm wild about Stoneyfield plain yogurt. I don't know, I think my tastebuds have adjusted a bit because now flavored yogurt seems so sweet and desserty to me. I still eat it but it's become that: dessert. The plain yogurt is much better for breakfast.

I love the Dannon Light & Fit, all flavors but the Pineapple Coconut was the best.. sadly it was for a limited time only :( So next in line oddly enough is the lemon flavor.

06-26-2009, 02:14 AM
Which ever brand I have a coupon for. :p Seriously, I usually get Yoplait Light, Fiber One, or YOPlus brands. I LOOOOVVVEE yogurt!

06-26-2009, 02:46 AM
Yoplait Elivae Fig and Honey - yuuuuum!

Or plain Greek. It's creamier (even the lo-fat version) than ordinary yoghurt.

06-26-2009, 03:00 AM
my current favorite is the yoplait light - boston cream pie flavor.

This is one of my all time favorites because to me it tastes just like cheesecake!

06-26-2009, 04:27 AM
I love Yoplait Light! :) Such a variety of flavors! :)

06-26-2009, 08:47 AM
i don't love it, i've tried and tried and the only way i get it down is it i use it as a topping to cereal or some fruit - but i figure i shouldn't have to choke anything down lol so i stick to cottage cheese that i love :D

The best fat loss yogurt is Astro plain fat free with 1 pk of splenda and a bit of cinnamon. IT is wonderful! Who new plain yogurt could taste so good.

06-26-2009, 04:50 PM
2% Island's Farms Lemon Meringue yogurt.... LOVE LOVE LOVE IT. Tastes just like lemon meringue pie.

06-27-2009, 12:05 AM
yoplait fat free vanilla with fresh fruit and granola mixed in. YUM!

06-27-2009, 11:02 AM
I love the Dannon Carb and sugar control in strawberry. It tastes awesome and is good on the ole sugar consumption.

06-27-2009, 12:05 PM
I'll have to try some of these.

I ate stonyfield for years, some of them are too sweet for me (black cherry comes to mind)

I recently started eating dannon, so creamy and delicious. I really like the Greek yogurt too. just had a pineapple flavor that was great.

I used to eat plain yogurt, mixed with pineapple chunks and frozen (is good for the summertime). I'd put some honey in it too, since for me it's a little tart.

06-27-2009, 05:37 PM

Oikos, Honey Flavored Greek Yogurt. Yummy

06-29-2009, 11:15 AM
my favorites by far have been Wallaby yogart. vanilla with blackberries or blueberries thrown in. Sometimes some granola. Or the Stoneyfiels vanilla or mocha flavored. I also enjoy greek yogart, either total, or the greek gods.
