Mini-Goals - Yay! 12 pounds in 8 days!

Yay! I have already lost 12 pounds, and I just started my diet/exercise regime 8 days ago. I have been eating healthy, drinking lots of water, and exercising for about 10-15 minutes a day for 2 days a week: pilates and dance. I feel so much better. I dropped my calories from 2200 a day to 1400-1600 a day. I can't believe I consumed that much! I can consume twice as much eating veggies and fruit, whole grains, nuts, and lean protien. Plus, my skin is starting to clear up. Thanks everyone for the support. I can't wait to get under 200! :carrot:

Awesome!! I wish I could be as motivated as you! What type of dance are you doing?

Just modern dance. Basically, I turn on the music and move my body for about 30 minutes straight. I make sure to keep moving, even when I feel like falling over. I also increase the intensity as I go and use the final song as a sort of cool down. Believe me it works! Also, try the belly dancing weight loss videos; they are great!
