100 lb. Club - How many calories a day are you eating?

Just curious! I have noticed that most people are way under me. Just curious as to how many you eat a day and if you are still losing, etc.

I'm 252.4 lbs and I eat 1700 calories a day :)

edited to add: I am losing an average of 3.4 lbs per week :)

I was up to 1700 but my weight loss came to a halt then I started gaining.

I have since changed up to 1400-1600 calories a day and have gone back down to 214.

1800 to 2000. I am still losing, probably about a pound per week right now. More importantly to my mind, on this level of calories: I am satisfied with the variety and taste of my food, getting plenty of excellent nutrition, not driving myself insane over calorie counts, have enough energy to do all the physical stuff I want to do, sleeping well, and feeling super-healthy.

2000 cals a day, 2250-2300 on days I do my strength training (it basically covers the PWO shake I take). I'm still losing weight on those levels (and long may it last)! :)

Just thought I should add that I started with a lower calorie range at 358 (1600-1800), but my weight loss was inconsistent and I had a hard time sticking to it. Later, when I started lifting weights I actually raised my daily calories, and now I kind of like them here. So I just try and be more active overall.

I started out at 2000 a day, but found that when I was eating "clean" I just didn't eat that much. So now I'm looking at 1600-1800. Probably once a week I go above that. And once or twice I get to the end of the day and find it's only about 1400. But I think that cycles like that are normal, and helpful to keep the body from adjusting too easily to where I am.

1500 and losing. Went to 1200 originally, had always been taught that a 1000 calorie diet was The Norm. Stalled at 1200, still losing at 1500.

My intake is 1700 calories and I'm losing 1/2 to 1 pound a week....slow and steady wins the race!

Between 1500-1600 and this week because of challenge from my weight loss group I'm keeping it almost right at 1500 calories. I'm curious to see how it works out for me. :cool:

I'm eating 2200 - but I am nursing a 6wk old baby so 400 of that is for him. I have better results if I eat more and exercise more to burn it instead of just restricting calories. Were I not nursing, at this weight, I would be consuming 1800.

I eat around 1600 a day. I haven't been tracking them that consistently lately, but about once a week I put them in to Diet Power (for the whole week) and they are still about 1600.

My weekly average 1650-1750. That's been my average for quite awhile. I'm losing pretty steadily at an average of about 1.5 pounds a week. The last couple of weeks I have lost almost 7 pounds (!!!???) and I credit that to more regular exercise. I'm praying it will last but won't be too bummed out if I go back to my normal rate, either.

1500-1650 I might change this very soon because I have not been seeing very good losses in almost a month.

I exercise (run) the vast majority of my days and do not eat back my calories. My loss is still going but slowly. I am not lowering my calories any further. I am happy doing just what I am doing.

My weekly average is 1550 and I'm losing about 2lbs a week, I exercise a ton though!

Right now 1500-1700. I started at 2000 and have lowered it 100 calories at a time until I got to this level. I am losing but not as much as I would like so I am bumping up the exercise.

I'm currently at 1800 and losing about a pound a week, but I'm taking it down a tad this next week or so to see if it speeds things up a bit for me.

Hmm, I have no idea, but I'd guess around 1700-2000 and I lose 2-3 pounds most weeks. But I also have to work out 30-60 minutes per day to lose at that caloric amount, however I am completely satisfied and it is very sustainable :)

Around 1400 - 1500, but I'm still playing with it. I've been exercising like a fiend, so hopefully I'll start noticing some bigger changes here soon. (I have lost about 4 lbs, so I really shouldn't be whining... I'm just impatient! :))

I'm between 1400-1600 and losing at a nice pace, any lower I stall right now. Lots of exercise here as well.

I'm doing 30-45 minutes of walking a day and I'm doing between 1600-1800 calories. I'm losing at least 1lb. a week. Not too bad. :) It's working, so I'm not messing with it.

1500 but I exercise quite a bit so I have plenty of days that end up at 2000 or even 2500 even here and there. 1500 is always my main goal though.

For me its about the meal so the total is variable.

Breakfast: 300-450 cal
Snacks up to 2 a day: 100-200 cal
Lunch:350-500 cal
Dinner: 450-700 cal

so I vary from 1200-2050 and I lose about a pound a week I weigh and measure everything though, so I know for the meal and this is all the tracking I want to do :)

I also exercise 4-6 days a week for 45 min-1 hour each time
