Crazy as it seems, I won the good fight over an enchilada. Yesterday was my birthday party and I made mexican food from scratch: Enchiladas, beans, rice, bday cake. The whole bit. ( Been cooking since Wednesday lol)
I had two cheese enchiladas (normally I eat like 4 or more, love the things) half cup of beans, half cup of rice, and an extremely small piece of cake, no icecream.
Sounds stupid, but I was proud of myself.
I've lost 6 lbs so far and can squeeze myself into a 16 and button them. Not very comfortable, but by heavens they button! Can't wait until they just glide on and I don't have to suck it in.
Been slacking on the exercise so gonna get back into that today. Baby steps.
Wish there were a magic button or a Great Oz I could pay to just zap the fat away.
Well first, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! And second, WAY TO GO!!! Irish is right, lol. I tend to give myself a little break on birthdays. Well, not just anyones birthday but mine or my kids.
However, you are so early in the game with this that I think you definitely made the right decision. Before you know it, those 16's will not only button, but you will have lots of slack in them
Good for you! It's always nice to know that you do, in fact, have control over what you're eating, and if you don't eat as much of something as you normally do, that it's okay and it's still so worth it!!!! (sometimes I have a hard time figuring that out!)
