Please evryone read Dianne's post on the second page of #37.

Dianne,
That is so tragic! That makes me so mad and I can only imagine how you feel. That poor baby. Caught in the middle of all of that. What gives this woman the right to be this way. I am so sorry! What is your next step? How does she treat the baby?
Could your son go for custody if he decides to leave? How is his mom handling it? Sorry for all of the questions.
How are you doing? You and your husband?
If you need anything we are here!

Jen,
I didn't want to eat that low. I got so busy with this "baby". I swear he is as much work as a baby. I don't get hunger pangs except in the morning. I get tired and then I don't eat. Go figure!
It is hard to give up family dinner time but you have to do what is best you. I love the meal conversations though. We try to have it 3 nights a week. No t.v. on at that time.

Essie,
Good luck! You can do it. You aren't whining and even if you were that is why we are here. LOL Kiss that chihuahua. I'll have to check your church out on t.v.

Zoe,
I usually eat 22-24 points a day. I just can't eat when I am tired. I would rather sleep. LOL Never thought I would say that.
Kiss that puppy. I would love to see that combo.

I didn't go to my weigh-in today. Snowed overnight and the city basically shuts down with any accumulation. I found out the leader didn't make it in and only a handful showed up. Still op though! Weighed myself and down about 1.5 pounds.

Hi Myra!
TTYL,
Terri

Dianne, welcome back. I was starting to worry about you. This is why I'm constantly praying that my son meets someone that's good to him & gets along with us. My SIL useto do that to my Dad when he was alive. She would try & keep the kids from him whenever she got mad knowing how much he loved those kids. She's changed alot. Too bad my Dad isn't around to see it. Maybe your nephew will see the light someday.

Terri, I never got the chance to get my son's digital camera so you can see my face. I'll still keep trying. It does make it much easier when you see someone's picture. Can't wait to see Tanner's. I know he's going to be a cutie!!

Well, hubby just got home. Be back tomorrow.

:)

Dianne,
my heart goes out to you and your family in having to put up with that woman. It's such a sad thing to see manipulation going on like that. All you can do is hope for the best. Good luck.

My son is 22, and lives at home. He's not dating anyone, and for now, that's fine with me. There are so many unstable people out there, let's face it. It's sad but true.

I walked again today..that makes 5 days in a row that I've walked/exercised. Feels good, and I'm happy that I made myself do it. I've just got to keep it up.

Terri,
good loss! Did you get alot of snow? Our is melting, down to about 10 inches out there now. I'm definitely ready for spring! All the gardening catalogs are arriving in the mail.

Zoe,
that's quite a menu!!! Who's birthday? That's one big challenge we all face, the dreaded parties. All we can do is our best, it's better than before we started WW, and didn't care what we ate ;)

Hi to Myra, thinking of you.

Hope you all enjoy your Sunday,
~Jen

Hi Essie,
Can't wait to see your picture! I got Tanners today. They came out good. He is a teddy bear.

Jen,
Thanks! Only got about 2 in. but the town freaks out because the red clay under the ground is very slick and we don't have enough trucks, equip. in general because it rarely snows.
Great job walking. That is wonderful. Way to exercise.
My brother was divorced twice (lives next door to my mom) and she would sooner he stayed single now.

Hi Dianne, Zoe and Myra! Have a great Sunday!

I'm home for a bit, getting dressed for this birthday party tonight. The food/buffet will be:

Cocktail hour with brie, shrimp (I hate shrimp), a cream cheese spread, different other cheeses and crackers. The
Dinner buffet ~ chicken marsala (WW book says 4oz is 15 pts.....), beef wellington medallions, new potatos, green beans almondine, amaretto cake, birthday cake and rolls. I'm dead meat ~ HA! My weight loss has been so big that I am worried next Wednesday night will be a low-loss. Hey, it's bound to catch up with me, right?

Dianne ~ So nice to "see" you again! I'm so sorry about your situation with your grandson and your step sons situation. I know from my own personal experiences that these relationships can be crushing to all involved. I am praying for it all. It's good that you did get to see him.

Well, gotta run. Hi Jen, Terri, Essie and Myra.....have a great "rest of your Saturday"

I am sooooo sorry Zoe! Did I miss it? (#38) http://www.3fatchicks.com/ubb//dizzy.gif Were they at the same time? I swear I didn't see it. If I did I would have never started another one. That would be so RUDE! The #37 was second from top. It was at 2 pages that is why I did it.

Jen,
Did you get more snow last night? We got nearly another foot! Just came in from shoveling. What a job, but a good way to earn those activity points. But the snow just adds to my feeling of isolation that I feel anyway without a car. We were supposed to visit come friends upstate today. Well, that's off. I hate winter. So hard to plan.

I hope all are well.

Myra! Good luck with the rest of the winter. We had 3 days of non stop rain. If that would have been snow. WOAH! That shoveling is hard work. Good for you!

Goodmorning

Popped in to say hello. My doors are frozen so I can't get to work. The sun is starting to come up so hopefully it'll be warm enough so I can open at least one door. We got quite a bit of snow yesterday now everything is frozen.

Myra, where do you live? My sister has a house in PA & they always get alot of snow. She couldn't take it anymore so she moved next to me. I can walk to her apartment. Eventually she'll have to sell her house cause it's hard to pay mortgage plus the rent. She makes good money but her husband is an alcoholic & is always getting fired. Once they went to check the house & the snow was up to their windows . I know what you mean about the winter, it's unpredictable.

Terri, Tanner is adorable.

I hate sitting around like this. I'm getting too comfortable & soon I won't want to go to work.

Well, let me read the other threads.

Be back later. Have a great day. :)

Love,
Essie

hi guys:

Thanks all for your words of understanding. It's a difficult situation and I can only hope and pray that it gets better. No one wants to see this baby used as a weapon, but we are helpless in the situation.

Terri: my step-son has been told by all of us that if he leaves her he can of course support the baby and get visitation rights. But, he does'nt want to leave the baby and I guess we can't blame him. As far as we can tell, she loves the baby and treats him well, he's a one of her things, like our step-son and so I'm sure she's obsessed with him too. The thing is if we want to see the baby we have to put up with her and right now none of us is willing to do that, so who knows what will happen. I think he stays there to make sure the baby is safe.

Well, I don't know if I lost anything this week, because my weigh in was Sunday and due to the snow, the center was closed.

Hope you are all doing well. Will talk to you soon.

Oh, Terri - Tanner is adorable, just like you said, he looks like a teddy bear! Soooooooo cute. Good luck with him.

Myra and Essie,
You really got dumped on with that snow! I was thinking of you when I saw the national weather. We've been lucky with beautifully sunny days. Cold, but that's ok. The snow that's still here is that nasty black along the roads, etc. Definitely not pretty anymore! Be careful shovelling.

Have an appt. tomorrow morning, couldn't get out of it, so I'm not going to weigh in till Friday morning. I don't want to go to any other leader except the one I have and Fri. is her next meeting. So I'll post it here on Fri., my loss, I mean! ;)

Hope everyone has a good day. Will check in later.

Hi All!
My Monday was busy. Let's see:
1 Dr. appt. (Brandon) 1 dentist (Brittany) and 1 vet visit. I am sick of waiting rooms.

Thanks for your kind words about Tanner. I hope you don't mind me sending the picture to you since I have you in my contacts.

I am so happy to hear all of the positive things coming out about the program. I bought the WW bonus buddy. It is a cool little gadget. I had one of their old ones that I used all of the time. It keeps track of your earned points, how far you walked/jogged, calories etc...

YUM, Zoe -- that boneless pork chop sure sounds good - I think I'll make that tonight in my GF grill! Pork chops are my favorite.

Jen - Good luck with your weigh-in on Friday!

Terri - Kids and appointments - so much fun, right? I didn't mind the pictures of Tanner at all, he's a cute little fur ball!

Myra - I go upstate every summer to a coast-to-coast place called Wanderwood. It's in Summitville, near Ellenville. I beieve we pass Monroe on the way up Rt 17. You must have gotten tons of snow!

Essie -- how are you girl? Did you ever get to work yesterday, or did you get too comfortable, LOL.

Take care guys, have a good Tuesday.

Hi Y'all ~

tomorrow evening is weigh in and I'm a little anxious after the Saturday night 'binge'. Did I fail to mention that me, Miss 2 wines is my limit, drank 7 or 8??? How about THAT for a waste of 14-16 points!?!?!?!?!? Anyway, I'll go and if I did good, Lord, I pray, if I still did good, I am just SO staying on this. :D :D

Gotta run quick ~ I hope everyone is having a wonderful Tuesday night.

Zoe, good luck tomorrow. I had to laugh when I read about the wine...that is my downfall. And it's so easy to use up points in no time when you have some drinks.

I checked out our village's health club on Sunday (and met Tom Waddle, a cutie-pie ex-Bear!) I'm just to cheap to pay if I'm not totally committed to getting the most out of it. The walking/running indoor track is free to residents, so I'm going to take advantage of that. It's going to be nice to walk indoors until the warm weather gets here.

Hope everyone has a nice evening. See you tomorrow!
~Jen

Hi guys:

Zoe -- I think you're doing just great! 12.6 lbs lost in 3 weeks is fantastic. Don't get thrown by a couple of ounces. At least it was still a loss. Besides, if you had fun drinking that wine, it was worth it, in my opinion!

Jen -- That indoor walking/running track sounds like a great idea for you in this weather. I would like to find something like that in my neighborhood. I love to walk but because of the weather, haven't been doing it. That would really be a good thing.

Hi Terri, Essie and Myra -- hope you're all okay. Will talk to you soon. Have a great day!

Good Evening Y'all ~

Aaaahhhhhh.....tomorrow is FRIDAY!! After last weeks party on Saturday night, preparing for it all day, Sunday being a wasted day with me lazying around, I am so ready for this weekend.

I've been trying to reorganize myself and my time. Do any of you feel disorganized and just so out of it? I feel like I don't have enough time in a day to do what I need to do and what I want to do and then, when I stop to look around, it seems like I've done absolutely nothing. http://www.3fatchicks.com/ubb//dizzy.gif I want to be able to make time for doing 150% at work, keep my home and keep up with the laundry ~ to make time for the few 'groups' I post in. I only am involved with 3 but sometimes, I feel like my head is spinning. Do any of you post elsewhere besides this? I am here, also in the Christian Encouragers thread here and then, I have my own founded club on Yahoo for losing weight with God's help, focusing on Him instead of food. I feel like I've neglected that club and I'm the founder!! I need to regroup........................................... .................................................. .......<sigh>..................................... ........................ ..........ok, I feel much better now. :D :D

Just wanted to pop in and vent. Thank you all for being a shoulder any time I need to do that. Ha!! I love you all.

Zoe, it sounds as though you're very busy. I only post on 3FC, on another thread. I don't have the time or patience to keep more than that going. You're doing well, keep it up.

I had to switch my weigh in to today, and next week have my mammo. on Tues., so will be weighing in on Friday next week also. I may change my meeting permanently to Fridays, as I need the pep talk for going into the weekend.

I had a loss of 6.8 lbs. at today's weigh in; it's actually for a week and a half, as it's been since a week ago Tues.

I did work hard for the loss. I was hoping for 2 lbs., but was rewarded with much more. Today I didn't stay for the meeting, I should be able to next week and thereafter.

Hi all! I finally got my car back! It is great to have freedom again! But, of course, my life won't let me just be happy. As soon as I ransomed the car ($2,000 in repairs!!!!!)an emotional bombshell was waiting for me at home. My landlady hasn't paid taxes owed on my house. She is trying to get a loan but it is getting down to the wire. I'll know in the next week or so whether I have a home or if it is going to be foreclosed meaning I will have to move. And with the $2000 gone I have NO MONEY. YIKES!!!!!! I haven't really be that good on program the past week (cabin fever was really getting to me) but with that news I went WAYYYYYYYYY off program. Yesterday, however, I managed to stay within my points range again and hopefully I can stay OP this weekend despite my frazzled nerved. Things have to turn around eventually, right?

Thanks for being here for me.

I hope everything gets better for you Myra! Good luck! Keep us posted and good for you for not giving in to the emotions.

Hi everybody.
I weighed in and lost 2.4 pounds. I'm in the 150's. I got my 35# star today.
YAY!!!!!!
We had a wonderful meeting today. I think we laughed the whole time.
I bought the 12 week journal book. I am going to fill every page, not only
with food and points, but with my feelings.
Twice a month I go to McDonalds after weigh-in and get breakfast for
everyone. This is Bruce and the kid's treat. It was my idea to start it.
Now the kids love when I go to WW. I am proud to say that this is the
second time in a row that I did not get anything. I used to get the Bacon,
egg and cheese biscuit and eat 1/2 for 6 points. I haven't done that since
Nov. I noticed the requests have dropped from my family too. 1 sandwich and
no hash browns.
They are all watching. Brandon dropped down 4.5 lbs. (needs to lose about 5
more) and Brittany went with me today and lost 1/2 pound.

Hope everyone's weekend is going well.

Hello Everybody,

Myra, my goodness. My heart goes out to you. My Son just had to pay $800 on repairs for his car & I thought that was alot!!! I saw the picture of your house & it's really nice. I hope you don't have to move. She'll probably come up with money. How much does she owe? I haven't been doing too great either as far as being OP. I started today with my journaling. Exercise hasn't been a problem. Hope everything works out.

Zoe, I know how you feel when you say there's not enough hours in the day. As long as you trust in The Lord you'll be alright. ;)

Jen!!! 6.8 lbs. WOW  That is great. I've missed 2 meetings. What a bummer :( I don't know when I'll go back. It will be soon. I'm determined to lose at least 15 lbs. by my birthday, April 26th. I'm very proud of you!

Hi Terri :D, how did Britts weigh-in go? I haven't been on the computer much. It made me realize how much I need to be here.

Have a great weekend. You too Dianne :)

Hi Y'all ~ I hope everyone is having a great weekend and staying on track. I feel great and have been good today although I haven't had enough water. I find it hard to drink all my water on the weekends. During the week, at my desk at work, I am always drinking it but Saturday and Sunday, I just don't do it......I need to concentrate on doing better with that.

Myra ~ Don't you just hate being tied to the house?? Glad you have your car back. I am praying for your house situation.

Terri ~ WTG on losing 2.4 pounds!! WOW, that's great!! Doesn't it feel good to get to that next 10 mark? Those are my mini goal, getting down to the next group of 10's. When I get to those 50's, I'll be jumping for joy!! Congrats!! :D :D
I bought that 12 week journal the first week I started back, 1/3 ~ I love using it more than those little paper thingys. I also put down my emotions, feelings, etc....it's been a big help.

Hi to everyone else. Gotta run (hubby wants the puter) ~ be back tomorrow after church. Have a great evening Y'all.
