I had a baby six months ago, then I had two surgeries and my son had one surgery. I started exercising again in late March or early April. First, I got shin splints. Now I'm dealing with plantar fascilitis. Today, my baby and I got hit by a car while out on our morning walk. Seriously?

You know, sometimes it seems that way to me, too. I've had 3 knee injuries, 1 knee surgery, 2 rotator cuff strains, and then the latest, when an elliptical threw me off of it into a wall and I bruised the bone on my shoulderblade.
I prefer to think of it as God telling me I need to start cross training and finding new, exciting ways to work around my injuries!
OK, maybe even I'm not that optimistic But I TRY to think that way, even if I fail.
If I believed in God, I would say that god is punishing you...but I don't, so I don't think god is punishing you.
First, I'm sorry to hear about the bad luck you've had...ouch, and hope you're okay after getting hit by a car. I was thinking, maybe you're being too hard on yourself. If you're first day and you try to run 3 miles. Why not start with, I'm going walk half a mile. And maybe running isn't for you...maybe try something with less impact like swimming. I think because you keep getting hurt, you're giving up. But don't let it get you down...keep going. bad luck will pass.
Thanks everyone! I really need support, and you guys have been great for that. Thanks for putting a smile on my face and making me laugh a little. Also, baby and I are fine, just a little traumatized (and sore).
