Momentum / Flex - What are your favorite one pointers?

06-14-2009, 09:57 PM
I was looking at a list I made of one point snacks at some point.
I was looking at it thinking hey some of this could be put together for a low point dinner on those days you dont have many points left..
Like a chicken drumstick, salad with one point of dressing, etc.

So anyway what are your favorite one point foods?

06-25-2009, 07:20 PM
I love those hostess 100 calorie chocolate cup cakes and the coffee cakes and they are only 1 point. Also, Jello sugar free puddings for 1 point.

06-28-2009, 08:50 PM
I have recently discovered VitaTops. The Chocolate flavored ones are killer and only one point!!

The Jello SF puddings are good too.

for me it's snack's like
1c red grapes
a serving of 94%ff popcorn
sf chocolate pudding ;)
can shrimp (a serving) with a salad spritz with wishbone salad spritzer

I love the kettle corn popcorn. I forget who makes it I think like Jiffypop and it has the WW pts. plastered on the side, it's 1 pt. (Obviously : ) ) and is good if you are watching a movie or even just need that crunch.

Can someone please tell me about the vitatops..the only ones I have seen in the store was actually a mix...are they available ready...where are they in store?

06-29-2009, 08:32 PM
I googled vita tops and they have a store finder on their site. You just have to put in your zip code to get a list of stores that carry them in your area. They are muffin tops. They come in several flavors and are 100 calories.

I too recently discovered the Vita tops and man.. are they good. Especially the chocolate ones! I did not like the Banana nut ones as much. But the chocolate ones are satisfying and filling and for 1 pt, it's worth it! They have a website (

I found a few stores that only had the mixes or the actual whole muffin. I had to order from the site to get the muffin tops. Enjoy!

Mrs Freshley's brownies, high in fibre and so yummy!

After that its strawberries.

I know Amazon sells the browns and the chocolate muffins.
Look under the grocery section.
Being overseas I can't just get them at my store.
Has any tried the brownies??
Just curious.

In addition to what some of you have already mentioned (berries, vita tops/muffins, popcorn), I was at BJ's this morning and found these snacks:

The box I bought has individual packages of Fuji apples and some Potato ones, too. The apples have no extra ingredients and the potatoes have just a bit of sea salt. One package is 0 points! :carrot:

I just tried the apple one and very yummy - texture is more sponge-like than crispy, which I know sounds weird but was actually quite good.

Rowan- aren't the Hostess cupcakes 2 points?

My favorite 1 pointers are: grapes, blueberries, sf popsycles, laughing cow cheese wedges, carrots and hummus, celery with PB and deli select meats... and I love the 1 point bars at the meetings-especially the mint or the PB!

This post just makes me hungry! haha!

I've tried the vita brownies and they're pretty good. Decent sized with good flavor. I prefer the tops though.

08-20-2009, 10:31 AM
I've tried the WW carrot cake snacks and WW twinkies. They are both pretty good and only 1 point. They ARE pretty small, though.

08-20-2009, 12:34 PM
What section of the store are the VitaTops in? The store finder says the kroger by me carries them but I can't find them anywhere

I don't really like the WW twinkies that much, but they are strangely addicting (kinda like the real thing I guess. It's gross but you keep eating it). So I'm not buying those again. I do love the WW chocolate cakes though. Anyone tried the WW brownies?

At my Kroger they are in the organic foods freezer section.

I haven't tried too many of the WW snacks, but I like the lemon cakes. I don't get them too often, though. They're good with a cup of tea.

My grocery was out of the WW chocolate cakes so I tried the 100 Calorie Hostess cupcakes (and yes they are just 1 point, not 2- high fiber). I like the cream center but I think the cake part is too dry. I will be going back to my WW cakes

A few one pointers I combine are arnolds sandwich thin (1pt) with one serving of deli selects turkey (1pt) and a laughing cow cheese wedge (1pt). For a total of three points you get a decent sized sandwich and it's also delicious!

08-21-2009, 12:23 PM
cucumber, tomatos, green onions all cut up drizzle with 1tsp of olive oil add a packet of splenda and a few dashes of tabsco sauce equals 1 pt

08-23-2009, 06:33 PM
p.s. add dill

08-24-2009, 02:22 AM
mandarin orange fruit cups! that's my favorite lately.

08-27-2009, 07:40 PM
Definitely the 100 cal bags of Smart Pop. It was a favorite snack of mine before I started ww and I don't know how I would get by without it.

09-08-2009, 04:44 PM
Two Laughing Cow Triangles of Light cheese... mmmmm mmmmm...

10-23-2009, 11:20 PM
Has anyone tried the ranch popcorn seasoning??? I'm addicted with the 100 cal bags of popcorn ... Also i found if u microwave the ww cakes, muffins and brownies for about 15 seconds it makes a world of difference not as dry :) ... O and sf jello with ff cool whip

11-02-2009, 09:39 AM
The ranch popcorn seasoning is AWESOME! I used to buy it all the time but haven't been able to find it in quite a while. The only ones I've seen lately are the White Cheddar, Parmesan and kettle corn seasonings. I haven't tried is the Kettle Corn but all the others are great! Has anyone tried the WW fudgicles? OMG, those are soooo goood. I have to be careful though...I could eat the whole box of them!

11-03-2009, 01:14 PM
Progresso soups that are one point per serving (2 points for the whole can). Sugar free pudding cups are 1 pt. each. I also like the Little Debbie Cakes (they are cheaper than the WW snack cakes). They are 2 pts. each.

12-12-2009, 02:51 PM
I'm a fan of:
Life brand applesauces
air-popped popcorn
those little mini rice cakes
frozen Yoplait go-gurt
various soups.. there's these V8 soups that come in a little carton; the broccoli one is 1pt/cup. It's VERY thick and filling and deliscious, too! they have a few different kinds that are very thick and creamy... they range from 90c to 130 c per cup and they are all high fiber, filling, and delicious.

01-13-2010, 03:54 PM
The VitaTops that I've bought at the grocery store have been in the frozen food section. I like the corn muffin kind - I haven't found the chocolate ones to try yet.

01-13-2010, 04:13 PM
A cup of blackberries... mmmmm. :T

01-24-2010, 02:27 AM
I love the vitatops chocolate muffins. Hard to believe they have only one point!

01-28-2010, 11:33 AM
I have seen Vita Tops in Super Target, if anyone has been seeking them. THey are a bit out of my budget but I am so tempted to try them after all the great reviews you all give them!!!

01-28-2010, 11:34 PM
100 cal hostess chocolate cakes
1 cup of blueberries
0 points for cherry sugar free jello
Vitatops I must agree are STELLAR

That's all I can think of. I pretty much love sweets so if I can have something yummy and chocolate flavored every day for 1 point, I'm happy.

08-11-2010, 07:38 PM
Mmmm, I LOVE the french onion laughing cow wedges.

Also 1 cup of blueberries or a slice of watermelon!

08-17-2010, 02:16 PM
Vita muffins - blueberry bran in the am
and chocolate in the evening when I am craving a sweet treat!
they have been my life saver!!!

08-17-2010, 02:17 PM
oh ya and fibre gourmet cheese crackers - they are super high fibre and taste like cheese nips - 1 packages is 1 pt!!

08-17-2010, 03:32 PM
Vita tops are wonderful , its unfortunate that in my area we only get the choc. chip tops. no other flavours or muffins available. hopefully it will catch on and we can get some other variety!

08-31-2010, 09:37 PM
Crystal farms light string cheese. It's what I go to when laughing cow won't cut it :)

09-02-2010, 12:11 AM
How many points in a day can a person have on WW?

10-11-2010, 07:01 PM
Quorn naked cutlets or tenders are only 1 point! Very yummy with some BBQ sauce. I have had them for snack or with some veggies and potato for dinner. Loooove Quorn products! And Vitatops of course :)

11-22-2010, 05:58 PM
I love the FiberOne 90 calorie granola bars... Yum!! 1 Point!!

11-24-2010, 07:53 AM
I guess there won't be as many 1 pt foods now.. BUT fruit and veggies make good snacks!

I wonder if any dressings will be 1 or 2 points?

A lot of us liked fruits in this thread so that will be good. :carrot:
