Looking Good, Feeling Great - which clothes do you want buy when you reached your goal?

I want to wear a bikini with confidence really bad!

I promised myself a Herve Leger bandage dress when I reach my goal. I've always been a fashion fanatic, but it's hard to justify buying expensive designer clothes when I'm not comfortable with my current weight/size. Especially a tight bandage dress that shows off EVERYTHING, good or bad.

Like StuffedBunny wrote, I just want to be able to wear my old clothes again! I have tons of brand new and beautiful clothing in my closet and packed in bins that I am dying to fit into again!

Now that I'm getting close to goal, I realize I want to take more risks and wear more fashionable stuff. I used to live in Gap t-shirts and jeans. I want to wear things that are cut in a more unusual way. This thread is helping me be more fashionable. :)

I want to wear a black string bikini and both look and FEEL sexy in it!!

I also want to be able to wear shorts (not capris, although I will still wear them, cuz I think they're cute!) and feel good about my thighs...definitely my worst trouble spot!

And I want to fit back into the jeans that I wore roughly 15 pounds ago. I can get most of them up but they are waaaay too muffin top to even consider wearing at this point. Although I guess those would be more of at a mini-goal stage, cuz hopefully they'll be too big at goal!!! :D

Oh! and I want to go to the beach n daisy dukes and a bikini. I know that might sound silly, but ever since I heard that new Katy Perry song, California Girls, that's like my goal for next summer! Everytime I hear it, I'm like that's gonna be me by next summer!!!

Aside from cute clothes in general that I didn't get to wear as a teen, I very much want to buy one, JUST ONE, dress from a Japanese gothic lolita brand. I really should start saving for it, they are pricey (hence the just one).

I want to be able to wear shorts and not live in pants even if its the summer. I want to be able to wear a dress or a skirt without all the thigh friction

I would like to get a pair of white fitted pants (I won't even consider them now), but once I tone up and slim down some more I want to totally rock a pair.

I have stretchmarks so I don't know if this will ever happen, but I have never owned a bikini. I cannot wait to put one on and like what I see.

I found the cutest little pair of long plaid shorts (the ones that come down just below your knees) w/ a UGA logo on it today. I'm going back Wednesday to buy them and I'm going to keep them until I am able to fit in them. :)

I bought a bunch of work clothes from Victorias Secret before I gained the weight - would love to wear those. More than anything I would love to get into a pencil skirt again without looking like a pear struggling to move/breathe.

kaelah...I am with you, ModCloth has the most awesome dresses and skirts!! I so want them all but haven't been able to afford them yet.

Another place I absolutely adore now is Forever 21! They have the cutest fluffy skirts! They are a little short but so adorable, I just had to buy some.

I've noticed that since I've gotten smaller my tastes have changed. Instead of jeans and sweatshirts I now look for things I never would have considered. Ruffles, full short skirts, cowboy boots, asymmetrical ruffles, tight shirts...and the list goes on.

Its really fun to be able to shop for what you like instead of settling for what will fit to hide your problem areas. There is a reward in the end for all of our determination and struggles girls!!! We can do this and all of us can reach our goal!!!

I know my BF's company is having a huge Christmas party this year and they dress to the nines. I'd love to be able to fit into a little black dress for the occassion!

Ok, so this isn't quite "goal" but I will probably need to lose 15-20 before I can get into this. I bought this really cute dress from ASOS and it's a little too tight in the hips... I can not wait to get into it! I almost want to get into it by the time this wedding roles around, but you know what they say about wearing red to a wedding...

I want to wear my bikinis! I bought 2 at Target 2 years ago when I was super close to being able to wear them. Then I gave up and now I am back at square one. I still have them in my drawer, and I can't WAIT to wear them!

omgosh, i can totally relate. my calves are 16.5 inches and i'm only 5'2'', it makes me feel so self conscious.

I would love love love to buy my dream wedding dress...not that I hated the one I chose, but when there are only 3 or 4 options in the store in your size you have to settle. So once we reach our goal weights my hubby and I are going to have a recommitment ceremony dressed the way we wanted to the first time around.

I know it is weird but I would wear more athletic wear, like yoga pants and shorter tops. The kind of cloths that everyone thinks they can wear but in reality only very fit women actually look good in.

I also want to buy boots as my calves have been to wide for them of about 16 years.

What I will never wear again is crop pants, which (sadly) are currently the staple in my "at home" attire. I am in a (loose) size 20 now and only have a few pairs of size 18 that don't fit quite yet. As soon as I out grow anything I toss it into a give away bag which I post once a week on "freecycle" becasuse there is NO going back!

I have a whole rubbermaid bin of clothes from college... and it's like going back in time even though it was only a few years ago. It will be funny to start wearing those, like my own little retro party every day, though I don't have any professional clothes at that size (or very few), and will need them.

I think the #1 thing I'm excited to fit back into is the skirt that went with my interview suit in college... It was very sexy in a buttoned-up kind of way. =)

OMG it's been so fun reading all your posts (yes, all 8 pages!) I too have many things I already own, a nice mango-coloured sundress, red 'don't f*** with me' boots (as one of my co-workers calls them), cowboy boots, a really nice pair of leather lined knee-high leather boots. My calves are also 17.5 inches, so finding boots has been impossible. A yellow blazer that looks stunning with a black pencil skirt and white shirt. A navy wool, reversible blazer I got for $6 when I was in university.

As for what I want to buy, well that's a whole other ball game! When I'm up to it, my dh and I want to take ballroom dance lessons; he doesn't know it, but I'm going to want to buy a few of those wonderful dresses and shoes to go with! High heels will be a must, as will gorgeous skirts and dresses of all kinds -- I'm going to be a real diva at work! Also, the old t-shirts that I keep because they're still 'good enough to sleep in' will go in the bin!

Mostly, I used to have a lot of fun with clothes and with finding treasures at vintage, second hand shops and sales. I want that back!

There is this gorgeous Calvin Klein dress with zippers that has my name on it once the pounds are off!

And yeah, I definitely want to sport a pair of riding pants and boots. I love the look of Polo boots!

i have a puffy white winter coat, and short black leather jacket-more for fall, wont keep me warm.
had both of them 5 yrs. every fall/winter, i tell myself i'll get in shape and wear them. last yr i didnt even wear a coat, wore heavy sweat shirts. i hate my old winter coat.
now this fall/winter i really will wear them dangit! i can comfortably wear them. i think i'm a few # from them looking really good.
i second the boots prob. i've gained muscle, but they actually increased 1/2in. but eventually hard work will pay off.

I am going to clean out the mall and high street stores of all their skanky, skimpy styles that are intended for college freshmen. Life is too short not to show off a new body.

Victoria's Secret seems to be where all my MAJOR goal clothes are. I'll be be excited to shop at any NORMAL sized people store, but when I can wear these....I'll be golden. :)

i can't wait to be able to fit into (even if it's the biggest size) cute clothes from anthropologie and urban outfitters. those stores have such great stuff that i can't wear.

also... high end denim! would love a pair of joe's jeans.
