Default website for meal planning?

Hi, I'm looking for a site that will a. help me plan my meals weekly, b. give me the recipes to cook them.

I have 3 logistical challenges when it comes to weight loss. 1. I don't know how to cook. 2. I'm short on time (who isn't right) so the prep work needs to be fast.

Does anybody know a good (free) website that could help me with this?

Ila.

Sparkpeople has an option where it will give you meal plans. I prefer to plan my own, but the recipes on there look pretty easy. Best of luck!

this site turned me on to sparkpeople.com

their recipe section lets you add recipes to your favorites so it's easy to put on your meal plan. you can also make a food group for things you eat often.. like if you eat oatmeal with different things mixed in often, you can group it all together so you don't have to put each item everytime.

sparkpeople.com is the one for me as well, both for the meal planning and the food and exercise logs.
If you are looking for more inspiration for cooking, try eatingwell.com. Tons of healthy recipes, and quite doable for a beginning cook for the most part. They also have a menu planner and will even help make up a shopping list!
