Slavika: I know that is a good deal. I wish we were going! It was some list he is on for Vacations. It was just for flying out of San Francisco tho.
Every time my puter acts up and I call for DH it stops to! Dont you just hate that? I know he thinks Im crazy. Oh well.

Karen: I went to take my book today to have it bound and left the store. I stood there for ever and then finally someone came up and she said Oh I dont know how to do that and walked away to get someone else. So I stood there a while longer and finally left.
I saw her wandering around the store doing nothing........
I am gonna take it else where tomorrow. Glad you are feeling better!

Geri: Looks like you had another great week another 1.75! You are doing great!

It was a slow week for me only lost .4 but its still a loss!

Hello Everybody I wanted to get some things done around here before we leave on holidays so got DH to give me a hand. I had him pull out the stove and fridge and clean behind there for me. Why does it get so YUCKY back there in such a short time. We pulled them out and cleaned a couple of weeks before Christmas. I think maybe my furnace ducts have to be cleaned. :(
Then I tackled the deep freeze. There is some woman in my house who buys all this bread and buns and never uses it....then it gets freezer burn....then the birds get it.
DH says the reason I do all this cleaning before we go on holidays is in case robbers break in I wouldn't want them to think I was not a tidy person. http://www.3fatchicks.com/ubb//lol.gif
Karen thanks for the information and happy you are feeling better.
Lily Good for you .4# down. :) I think any loss is good.
I am going to watch the 2nd half of an old war movie. I'll come and take a peek back here before I go to bed.

G'day all,

We arrived back about 1 hour ago (it is now 5.15 Monday afternoon)
The trip presented a few challenges but overall I think I did OK. Tomorrow will be the test when I weigh in.
I very briefly read through all the posts since I was gone, sounds like you are all doing well.
As far as wanting to have a bit of hot weather, I don't think any of you would have wanted the weather we experienced this weekend. Particularly in our state records were broken in a number of towns, one town recorded 49C (about 120F :() Most other places hovered around the mid forties, we now have a cool change of sorts, it is still 32C http://www.3fatchicks.com/ubb//insane.gif
I forgot who asked about our weather in winter, it still quite mild we never have snow. Our tallest 'mountain' occasionally has snow and everyone goes racing up there to cath this phenomenon  by then there is nothing left, the snow is more like sleet.

In some parts of Australia (Victorian Alps) we do get a lot of snow and people go snow ski-ing.
Cheers for now, I better go and unpack :(

Maria, glad your trip went well and you got home safely. Good luck on your weigh-in.

Lily, congrats on your .4#. I am like Maria, any loss is good. I have gained 4# (note no decimal point) in 2 days and as much as 11 pound in 6 days. When I binge, I don't fool around! So even an ounce lost is a positive move. .4# is almost 2 sticks of butter. Every time I think that a quarter of a pound is nothing I try to remember the lecture I used to do with a pound of butter and a pound of chicken fat.

I think I am finally on track. This is day 14 and I have done okay. I have had 2 days where i was slightly over points (less than 2 and paid them back the next day), but no days where I was out of control. Those 2 days where I was a point+ over were days where I made a conscious decision to eat what I did. Never at any time have I eaten something unthinkingly or without counting it. Every bite has been journaled and counted. Am doing my exercise and drinking my water. Sooooooooo, even though I was slightly over, I have counted myself as OP. Is that legal? Does anybody remember when legal was the word we used for following the program.? It probably isn't right to use negative points, but I figure if I make it up the very next day what is the difference between borrowing points or banking points if your total for the week is correct? I suppose that is over-rationalizing.

How are you all on winning points enjoying the changes? I am still following 123 Success because as you can see it works fine for me and I like being able to count all my fiber. I need to consume lots of fiber and that is one way I can rationalize it. It works for me, so I can't see any reason to change. I also would rather spend my money on books and crafts because I am like Slavika----I've gotta have every new thing they have. When I go back after a "hiatus" it always costs me $60 or so by the time I get all the new stuff. I have enough books and stuff to stock a center. I just refuse to do it again. Having all the paraphenalia hasn't lost one # for me yet :)

I have caught up on the other thread and now have probably forgotten everything. Senior Moments are coming more and more quickly.

I have had such a terrible cold the last week. I took two days off from work because I felt so crummy. Isn't it awful when you CANNOT breathe through two nostrils? Claustrophobic! And I still don't feel great!

Geri - I can see now that you can do anything you want. Once you got it in gear, you have been a dynamo. And it shows--you have lost 5 pounds in 2 weeks? Good for you! And also, good for you, Margot. Can you believe how far you have come?

I am doing WW too, but I always lose so slowly. But, like you Geri, I can gain fast. Over the Christmas holidays, I went through a real THING. I have a cancer test every three months. The week that I am waiting for the results is always white-knuckle time. This time I had an appointment for Jan. 3rd for the blood test. So I had it in my mind all through the Christmas holidays that this would be my last Christmas. I was almost manic. I ate, laughed, decorated and tried to pack so many good memories into a very short time. Bottom line: 10 pounds. Good news: cancer test was great. But now I have very few clothes to wear to work, have a darned cold and am just a tiny bit depressed.

Lily - what has happened in California? Have heard lots of stories about power outages. Just so glad you don't have extreme temperatures. Many people in OK were without electricity in zero weather and it has been really awful for them.

Slavika - Your stories about your princess are priceless. I hope to have a princess in July so I am gathering your ideas to use when we play.

Maria - Last summer Oklahoma had many, many days of over 100 degreee temperatures. Even though it is a temptation to envy you your weather when we are freezing, I remember the cabin fever we had when we couldn't go out because we almost got sick. So, I hope your weather cools down and ours heats up.

Trudy, Slavika - no news from Dee?
Glenda

Slavika: LOL. This women that buys all these buns and stuff for your freezer, you might want to have a chat with her and tell her not to buy so much. :) You are to funny!
My DH Says the same thing when I clean before we leave. But they just dont understand we need to come back to a clean house. (course we clean it when we get back to)

Maria: Welcome back! Sounds like the trip went well. Sure sounds hot tho. Its been 105 here maybe 110 once, and that was bad enough!

Geri: If the old program works for you stick with it. The one thing they did change was the fiber. The higher fiber things are more points now. You need to stick with what works for you!

Glenda: Sorry you have been so sick. Hope you start to feel better soon! Dont know what to tell you about the power in Cal. Havent figured it all out yet as to what is going on.

Lily ~ Any time the weight goes down, you celebrate the loss. .4 down is good. You have been losing consistently .. good for you. Did you find someone else to bind the book? I think Karen had a great idea here. It would make it so much easier to use if it layed flat.
Slavika ~ I think that same woman has been putting buns and bread in my freezer too...Where does it come from? http://www.3fatchicks.com/ubb//lol.gif
Maria ~ We have a new "Soap Opera" starting today on TV..it's called Neighbors. It is from Australia..have you ever watched it? I think your summer gets a little to hot for me, I can't even imagine temps. that high. I watched a program one time that showed people who dug out a hole in the ground and lived underground for the summer because of the heat in Australia. Of course it was a rural area, not in a city.
Geri ~ Doesn't it feel great when you are in control and OP? WTG, on the 14 days OP.
Glenda ~ You really had a terrible cold. http://www.3fatchicks.com/ubb//sick.gif It is awful when you can't breathe through your nose. Congratulations on the test. I can't even imagine what went through your mind worrying about it. Now you know your health is good, you will be able to get back OP and lose those lbs. Once you get back OP you will feel so much better, just like Geri is feeling. :)

Today was Costco day with Slavika. I can recommend the Delisio Pizza, and the Butter Croisants with Straberry jam http://www.3fatchicks.com/ubb//spinning.gif, that was all I sampled. I guess that was quite enough. Tomorrow is WW and we are going to the meeting. Dee are you coming too? Let's hear from you.

Have a great Wednesday OP..Good Night http://www.3fatchicks.com/ubb//sleep.gif....

Hi Everybody Oh BROTHER, I just typed up my nice long post and I don't know what I hit but it's gone.
So briefly, Maria I'm glad your trip went well, the weather you are experiencing is certainly something else. YIKES. Geri you are like the little pink energizer bunny, you just keep going and going. :) Glenda sorry you are sick. I hate that stuffed up feeling too. Boy you will all enjoy a little
"Princess" in the family. I'm not sure but I think you have two grandsons don't you? Mind you grandsons are not exactly chopped liver either. LOL http://www.3fatchicks.com/ubb//lol.gif
Lela Well way to go, down 2.2# that is just excellent. Good for you. :)
Well Trudy and I have Weight Watchers tomorrow and then of course tea time. Maybe we will see DEE .
Night all. http://www.3fatchicks.com/ubb//sleep.gif

Geri

Lela, here is your happy dance. :) :)*** :) :)*** :) :) Sick or OP---who cares? I'll 2.2# anyway I can get them.

Glenda, you sound like me---except I would have gained 25# while I was celebrating my last Christmas. I am sure that everyone can empathize with your worry about the cancer test. If I had been through what you have, I would have been scared "spitless". I am so glad it was good. My husband had cancer in 1988 and had to take the tests every 3 months too. I know how the fear sets in. The relief when it is normal is soooooooooo good. He finally was given an all clear and doesn't have to take the test anymore. Except his was bladder cancer and he had to have a cystoscopy and a blood test. That wasn't any fun. The doctor in Ohio used to put him to sleep for the test, but the Texas urologist said that he had to have too many of them and couldn't keep being put to sleep so he had to suck it up and "be a man". He did fine, but I thought it was rather barbaric.

We finally have a Costco here. I like it so much better than Sam's. It is neater, cleaner, and has so many more brands to choose from.

Went to Joe's Crab Shack for supper. Had a salad with grilled chicken and a side of mashed potatoes. I am happy to report I only ate half the potatoes, didn't finish the salad, and skipped dessert. Don't I just reek virtue.

Lily, my weight is 157.25 today. It is the first Monday in years probably (except when I had the stomatitis) that I haven't gained weight. Yea me! I noticed on our chart the other day that it was a little higher than it should be. The 157.25 is accurate and current (it was my weight yesterday) and now my weekly report on the 30# spring challenge on Sundays should be in sync with that. I think I had lost almost a pound before the spring challene began. My beginning weight on that was 162.25.

We took the boys home tonight. We all went to Joe's Crab Shack for Troy's birthday, so it was a pleasant evening.

G'day all,

Tghe weigh-in was this morning and I am down 0.5, nothing to get excited about but its a loss which has to better than a gain. Learned lots this weekend that I simply MUST plan better.
Geri your loss was fantastic :). Congratulations to all the other 'loosers' :D
Glenda having been in your predicament I can totally relate to what you said. Now you got the good news you can channel your energies into staying OP and the gain you had will be gone in no time.
Trudy yes I have heard of Neighbours, it has been here for a very long time. I am not really into soaps and never watched it but it is obviously a popular show as it still shown here as well.
We get some of the programs David Suzuki made, I have really enjoyed watching these, I really admire him. I have heard him interviewed on radio here and I just find him fascinating listening to his life story and his many interests.
Sorry to hear you have not been well Lela, how is the quit smoking going?
It still continues to be quite warm but thank goodness not as bad as it was over the weekend.
Have a great day all.
Cheers
Maria

Lilly sorry about the incident at the store sometimes don't you just want to take them out when they do things like that. My way of thinking each person in the store should be able to punch holes. Better luck next time.

Geri weigh to go 1.75# is really good I have ladies in some of my meetings that would kill for anything over 1/2 pound. But they keep pugging away .

Lela you too 2.2# you are doing great. Sorry to hear that your not feeling well. Hope your better soon.

Lily, Lela ,Geri&MariaHappy Dance :) :)***** :) :)

Glenda so glad all you test came back OK. But sorry to hear that you've been under the weather too. Don't you think that stress weakens our systems and lets us get sick? Any way feel better. :)

Maria I think you did well considering you were out of town and not totally in control of the situtation. You must have some good choicesbecause you had a loss not a gain.

Slavika I too have to clean before vacation. I think its because when you finally get home you just want to sit and enjoy the memories of vacation and not have a cluttered house to distract you. http://www.3fatchicks.com/ubb//dizzy.gif

Dee How you doing?? Hope all is going well for your family. Check in soon and let us know.

Just wondering those of you attending WW meetings are you Weigh and Stay or Weigh and Run? Also did you have the topic of Meal Planning this week?

Got to go Take care everyone.

KAREN Hi there. Just quickly, TRUDY and I and the rest of our little tea time group always always stay for the meetings. I have thought it's kind of a waste of money to pay to just get weighed. My goodness, you can do that for free at your own house, your Mother's house or your friends house. :D LOL I think it's hearing what your leader has to say and also what the other members have to say, or who found what new great product in what store, that gives you the incentive to carry on for another week. Also of course knowledge is a powerful tool. Our WW Leader, who by the way is the best once said, "to pay your money and NOT stay for the meeting, is like paying your money at a movie theater and not staying for the movie". http://www.3fatchicks.com/ubb//lol.gif Have a great OP day everybody, I'll come back later.

Hi everyone, I don't know what I was thinking. I was reading all the posts trying to familiarize myself with everyone again and posted on the end of thread #90 instead of this one. Would you mind going to that one to read it because I sure can't remember everything I said!

YIPPEE... SILVERGAL :) :) :)
I am very happy to say WELCOME back. I have thought of you often. For the new gals "Silvergal", DARLENE, is our friend who started posting with us I think over a year ago.....my memory slips a little from time to time, not because I am getting older but because I know so much. http://www.3fatchicks.com/ubb//lol.gif All of you who believe me please raise your hands. hee hee. Anyway I don't know if I did it right but I copy/pasted your post from our old thread to this thread. I guess I will see in a minute if it worked. I think there is a much better way to do this, but for that I need LILY so here goes, and Silvergal, I'll come back and "see" you later.
SILVERGAL'S POST
Hello girls! I'm back, I think. Alas, I'm many pounds heavier, so here I go again and I need help! I see so many new names, I'm looking forward to reacquainting myself with old friends and meeting new ones.
It's been a bad time the last few months, but I finally decided that since I can't change any thing or any one but myself, I'd better get started again. For those that might remember and are interested, still no word from Erica. My mom is getting somewhat worse and we are thinking about a nursing home.

My New Year's resolution is not to lose weight like it has been for the past 5 years, but to laugh more often. (Hopefully while I am laughing, some pounds will fall off). Seriously though, I am starting back to WW tomorrow night. I am also going to try the gym again. I have had a frozen shoulder for 2 months and have been having horrible pain with that. So I'll have to go easy for awhile. Has anyone had this condition? What did you do? I have been going to a Chiropractor, have had one shot of cortizone and am now trying to take care of it on my own with stretching exercises and taking Celebrex.

Cal, I noticed you just had a birthday. Belated happy day wishes to you. I see you are still the queen of weight loss and still an inspiration to all.

Geri, so you are back on track? I didn't know you were off. Well, I'm going to try to follow your example.

Slavika, getting ready for another wonderful holiday? Good for you. I still love reading your stories.

Everyone else, I need time to catch up, but it's great to "see" all of you!

Glenda: So glad the tests came out ok. I can image what you go through each time you need to get the tests done.

Lela: Congrats on your loss! 2.2 is excellent. Sorry you are still under the weather.

Trudy: I took my book back to another Office Max that is close to work. I go and get it back today on my way home. The other Office Max never has had very good help. Just wont go there anymore! Costco the 100$ club! I never leave there there with out spending at least that.

Geri: I change the chart to your current weight. I changed the beginning to the 162.25. Hope thats right. Im a little confused. So check it out and let me know.

Maria: Congrats on the loss! A loss is a loss.

Karen: I am a Weigh and Stay person I find the meetings helpful. Not only helpful to hear what the leader says but also the input from the others is very helpful. We talked about Meal planning at my last meeting. How it is important to try new things and not stick with the same old Routine meals.

Darlene!!!!!!!! Good to see you! Im so sorry to hear there has still been no word from Erica.
And you mom is not doing well either. I have never heard of Frozen Sholder so can help you there. Sounds like it would be painful. Glad to have to back!! You have been missed!

Slavika: Im raising my hand!!!!!!! You know everything! You done good with the Copy and paste!

Hello Friends,
I returned from Gulf Shores about 2 hours ago. My sister, Dad, brother, SIL had wonderful family time. My dad is 77 yrs old, and I really appreciate and enjoy these family times the older he gets. Don't take them for granted like I used to. We stayed at brother and SIL's house, so we got to play with the kids (5 yrs and 2 mo. old) alot. That new little boy is so sweet and cuddly.

SILVERGAL: How good it is to see you again. Don't feel like the Lone Ranger with the weight gain. Positive decisions like you seem to be making are the first steps in the right direction. Sorry no news from Erica and I hate to hear about your mom. I've also been there having to make tough nursing home decisions. Sometimes there really isn't much choice, though. For the most part, they do receive the needed professional care there. I'll be praying for guidance and peace for you in whatever decision is made.

Just thought I'd post real fast after finishing #90 thread. I'm off to finish reading everyone's news.

Later all,
Josie

G'day all

10.30 Wednesday morning.
We had a great night last night. At the moment 'The tour Downunder' (a bike race similar to the Tour de France) is in progress. The first stage was in my neighbourhood and started last night. It was a lovely balmy night, the atmosphere was great and an Australian won the first stage!!
I am a bit of a bike rider but not quite in that league :D :D They really go fast and look so colourful in their racing gear.
Not a good look when they are standing up :o :o
Nice to meet you Darlene and good to hear you have re-joined ww. I have done the same 3 weeks ago and this time I will make it I like your resolution of laughing more, sounds good to me.
Good onya Lela for cutting down your cigarettes. I am the type of person who cannot do anything in moderation so cutting down was never an option for me but it works for lots of people.
It is another hot day here. Last night I was given a huge water melon and some rock melon (cantaloupe) guess what I will be feasting on today <IMG SRC="http://www.3fatchicks.com/ubb//lol.gif">
Slavika I am a sucker for bargains (re bread and buns) Yesterday there were so many bargains (post Christmas) that there were some I couldn't pass up, none of them were suitable to freeze though. Some lovely shortbread biscuits, nuts, pretzels etc.etc. As I cannot do anything in moderation :( I packed it all up and gave it to my son and his partner who were thrilled with the little windfall :)
HAve a great day all
Cheers

Lela ~ I think we were posting at the same time yesterday, so I missed out on a big WTG on the 2.2# down. You earned it...enjoy it. Glad to hear you are cutting down on the http://www.3fatchicks.com/ubb//smoking.gif ~ keep up the good work.
Geri ~ I think it is great that your DH beat cancer. You are doing fabulous in the Weight Loss Dept., 5# is wonderful..
Maria ~ down 0.5 is good. Don't forget you weren't in total control on the weekend. David Suzuki has been educating us for a long time.
Karen ~ Weigh and Stay person here. I really like the meetings. We get there when the doors open and visit with everyone till the meeting starts. It is like a Club. :D Today she talked about trying out new food ideas, be it at home or in restaurants. Very good.
Darlene ~ It is great to have you back. I've thought of you many times. Sorry you haven't heard from Erica. That has to be hard on everyone. Too bad about your Mom. Isn't it awful to watch them lose their independance when their health fails? I like your New Year's resolution. That would be a good one for all of us to follow.
About the Frozen Shoulder. I never had one, but a good friend of mine does. She has had many, many, many, bouts of cortizone shots, and lots of physio therapy and it is finally loosening up. You have to work on it, but it takes time.
Lily ~ We don't have a Costco membership, but Slavika does, and she takes every time my list gets long, so we spend a lot $$ too. :D
Josie ~ It is nice you got to spend time with your family. I know what you mean about appreciating your Dad, I feel that way about my Mom.
Slavika ~ I've lost posts too..very frustrating. Today at the gym I was heading to the shower, had my pool sandals on, my cosmetic bag in hand, but couldn't find my towel anywhere , I was muttering to myself when my friend asked me what I was looking for. I told her I couldn't find my towel, ... she pointed out that I had it wrapped around myself. :o ..I am going to use your excuse, just too much information in my head, hard to process everything. http://www.3fatchicks.com/ubb//lol.gif

Weigh in went well, I am maintaining.

I hope everyone has a great day OP Wednesday. Talk to you all later...

I haven't figured out how to paste it into 91, and sure would appreciate it if you would move it for me while I study "help" a little further. My "senior moments" are starting to get a lot more frequent. LOL, and Good Night.

Good Evening, Everyone.
Today was WI and I was disappointed to gain .5# - just proves my theory that I can't eat at the top of the points range or bank points and use them and still lose. I was OP every day this week, but did eat out at my favorite Chinese restaurant Friday and needed every one of my ten banked points to stay that way. Oh, well, I'll do better next week. I'm a Weigh and Stay-er, KAREN; the meetings are important. When I lose my motivation, the meetings can help me get it back. The other members always have useful tips and inspiring and funny stories to tell. This week's topic was meal planning and there were a lot of suggestions for new recipes to try. We are going to have a contest next week for the best new low-point snack. I'm not sure if we are supposed to bring a recipe or a sample! I could use some help, gals - any suggestions for something unusual would be appreciated.

BTW, KAREN, did you ever tell us what Minnesota Crud is?? Inquiring minds want to know!

Welcome back SILVERGAL, I'm one of the new members of this group who've joined in the last few weeks, and I'm sorry to hear you've had troubles. I'll look forward too getting to know you. I'm afraid I don't know what a frozen shoulder is, but I hope it clears up soon.

GERI and LELA, hope you are feeling better.

MARIA, glad you had a good trip to Melbourne. I can't imagine 120-deg heat, but I'm not too happy with the cold, gloomy days we are having here (Louisiana) right now. It rained all day today and we've seen the sun for about fifteen minutes in the last two days. More of the same is in the forecast. I wish I were going to Maui, too! When do you leave, SLAVIKA? In a couple of weeks, isn't it? Just enough time for all the housecleaning you HAVE to do before you go so everything will be perfect when you get back, right? That's just what I do, too. (After all, I wouldn't want the cat sitter to think i'm not a spotless housekeeper!).

Well, gotta go. Have a good night, all.

Lela: I sent you an email on where to find the chart.
Good for you on cutting back on the smoking!

Josie: its always fun to spend time with family. Glad you enjoyed your trip!

Maria: The race sounds super! Cant beat it when its in your own Neighborhood to. Nothing fun like that happens around here unless you travel for miles. .5 is a loss. A loss is a loss in my book!

Trudy: Gotta love Costco tho! I have a huge list for this weekend. Gotta take DH... ALAS....... it means we have to look at everything.......Up and down every aisle. Stop and pick up something; and stare at it forever. Sigh :(
Wanna take him with you and Slavika? Gladly let you!

Marsha: Sorry about the gain. .5 in nothing and will be gone next week. I will put my thinking cap on and try and think of a low point snack. But the Master Chef here, Slavika Im sure will have a good one!

Hi
I thought I would drop in for a minute and let you all know that I am still kicking!
My dd is still in the hospital. Needless to say I have been running back and forth to the hospital. Quite tiring but I am hanging in there. My hubby is back from his trip. Now I don't have to feel that I have to do this on my own. My heath is about the same. Some days are better than others.

Sure did miss you ladies at tea today. :(
Hopefully next week I will be there.
Everyone keep dropping the pounds you are doing great.

Dee

Marsha.. thought of a low point snack. Our WW leader said she puts 1/3 cup of cool whip into a container of yogurt, makes it very creamy and she really loves it...I will be trying that one out. :D

Hi Dee..So glad you showed up here, we are glad you are still kicking http://www.3fatchicks.com/ubb//lol.gif. We better see you next week. :D

Hi Everybody
TRUDY thank you for bringing MARSHA'S post over to this thread. :)
DH and I leave on Feb the 3rd Marsha. I'm really looking forward to the holiday not so much to the plane trip though. LOL
LILY I have one of my own, LOL he wanders around Costco looking for the gals who give out food samples. Sometimes, if he really likes it, he'll go back a second time, like they won't remember him.
Hi JOSIE glad you had a nice little trip. Family time is special and it's nice you still have your Dad.
SILVERGAL Hello again. I'm so sorry Erica has not been in touch. I guess she is ok though because you probably would have heard from the boy's side of the family. So that's good, and about your Mom, well you'll do what's best for her. That's to bad about your shoulder. What causes that to happen? I don't think I have heard of that before. Looks like you have made some postive moves to taking care of yourself like joining WW. Good for you. :)
DEE missed you too.
Night all. http://www.3fatchicks.com/ubb//sleep.gif

MARSHA One of the gals I post with at Dottie's said she bought a package of 10 - 9 inch French Crepes in the produce dept of her Supermarket. Ready to use 1 crepe=37 calories=1gram fat. This is what she did with it.

Spread it with 2 tbsp. Low Fat Coolwhip
cut up 1 cup of sliced strawberries and roll it up like a taco. = a total of 2 points. She said it was delicious and she was going to try other fruit. :)
What do you think?.............

Silvergal so glad you are back with us. I have missed you so much. Sorry to hear about Erica and your mom. I know that both situations are tough on you. Holler at me when you get a free Friday and we will do lunch. I keep Kara Monday through Thursday.

Lily you had the initial beginning weight correct. I did start at 187 way back when. The 162.25 was on Dec. 31,2000. Had to have a starting weight for the Spring challenge. I hate to be so much trouble. I want the 187 back so that it will reflect my total loss.

Josie glad you enjoyed your trip. Do you want to go see Joyce Meyer when she comes to Houston next month? We could share a room and spend 3 days basking in Joyce's teaching and getting to know each other.

Went out to eat tonight. It was a real high maintenance day with the baby today. She is cutting her molars (3 are in and one is poking through) and just needed a lot of one on one. My DH offered to take me out to eat and I jumped on it like a duck on a Junebug. Well, he wanted to go to the catfish place. I couldn't begin to count the points, so I just gave up. I have 16.5 in the bank (I know you aren't supposed to have more than 10, but I start over every Sunday and that is what I have already this week. Plus I has only used 11 so far today, so I figure I hopefully didn't go over. I will not carry any over to tomorrow. I am still going to count myself as OP. I didn't overeat or have dessert and I didn't eat it all (just most of it).

I am trying to get my kitchen organized. I have redone the Tupperware cabinets and 5 of the drawers. You would not believe the stuff I have pitched. I have too much stuff. I am trying to cut down. I just need less crap to cope with. I am trying to simplify.

Glad you are doing okay, Dee. Sorry that your DD is still in the hospital.

Slavika, what did you do about the coloring for the Outback bread? Where do you get caramel coloring? I have never seen it.
16 days OP

GERI Hi, you know the recipe said the caramel color was optional so I didn't look for it and of course didn't use it. It does turn sort of a caramel color anyway I guess from the coffee and the cocoa. Cut back a little on the "sugar" unless you like your bread sweet. I know you will like it. :)
CAN ANYBODY TELL ME THE CORRECT WEB ADDRESS FOR "BAKERBOX.COM" I understand you can order those Baker's cookies there and wanted to check it out. The Bakers Breakfast Cookie Site is under construction so their was no info there. From reading around on the posts, looks like these cookies might count as 8 points per cookie. I always like to know what everybdoy is talking about. hee hee http://www.3fatchicks.com/ubb//smoking.gif I think the word is "NOSEY".
IT'S OK I FOUND THE ADDRESS ON ONE OF THE BOARDS. :) thanks anyway.
If they do count as 8 points for ONE cookie that better be some great cookie.

Slavika: http://www.bakersbox.com/

Company who makes the cookies is http://www.bakersbreakfastcookie.com/
But they are redoing it at this moment.

Opps see you found it already. They are huge cookies but I dont think they are 8 points either. I count them as 6 right now. I think they are 2 servings. They weigh 4 ounces each. Most people are counting as 4 right now. They are good cookies, and well worth it. Be interesting to see what happens on them.

Dee: So good to see you! Glad Dh is back and will beable to help some.

Geri I fixed the chart back to your beginning weight.

Night all

HI LILY I was doing some calculations on what it would cost in Canadian funds for these cookies I hear so much about and would you believe $1.80 each. Are they that good???? I know if you order 4 dozen or more you get them a little cheaper, and yes, I also was reading that the info they give might be for 2 servings......but still, 8 points for a 4 oz cookie. Well I guess I would have to see it and eat it. :) Oh of course $1.80 per cookie does not cover shipping and handling to Canada. BROTHER.
