My goal is to lose 60 lbs this year and I've hit the 30 lbs lost mark.
Half way there... :carrot:

You know what I find actually helps? Telling everyone I know that I'm on this plan, the progress I've made, even if it's just a 6 lb lost. I thought originally, if I told people that the response I got would be: GOOD FATTY! YOU NEED IT. ANY WEIGHT YOU LOSE IS LONG OVER DUE!!!! :D

But then I started telling everyone I know I'm on a "diet", taking it one step at a time, eating better, making progress, etc, and people are so supportive. Even when I was at the 6 lb lost mark. Everyone I told was like oh! That's awesome.... I'm so proud of you. And now that I tell people I'm at the 30lb mark, the response is even more supportive than ever before and this really keeps me going.

So yay me, half way there, and to those of you are only 5 lbs into this, or even 100 lbs into this...GOOD WORK! KEEP IT UP! YOU'RE DOING AWESOME!

So much of my motivation has come from people noticing my efforts and supporting me. Just yesterday the lady behind the counter at the gym exclaimed "wow, you are dedicated!" It really felt great!
