DCHound, this is a MAJOR accomplishment! We all concentrate on those stupid numbers so much, I think we forget sometimes what they mean.

What your new delightful numbers mean are a significantly smaller chance of heart attacks, strokes, diabetes and all those assorted horrible health problems associated with hanging out with the FatnNasties. You are doing such a wonderful thing for yourself, my dear --- and you have accomplished so much!

You deserve a ticker tape parade! Congratulations!

Awesome job! If I may ask, where did you go to find the BMI chart you used? I have seen different charts, but haven't seen one that showed "morbid obesity" vs "obesity". Thanks in advance!

A BMI between 18 and 25 is considered normal. A BMI over 25 suggests that the individual is overweight, while 30-39 indicates obesity. A BMI of 40+ suggests morbid obesity. 50+ super morbid obesity (that's what I was).

DCHound super-duper FANTASTIC way to go!!!! Wow. Wow. Wow. Your hard work is surely paying off. Keep it up friend. Not that I needed to say that. I KNOW you will keep it up. :)

108lbs in 9 months, 12lbs a month for 9 months

It sure looks like that, doesn't it? HA! Some of the "old-timers" can tell ya, that ain't how it happened.

I lost 20.5 lbs the first two weeks, total 60 lbs the first 3 months, 39 lbs the second 3 months (taking me up to 2/14/1009) for a total of 99 lbs lost in 6 months...then...a VERY long dry spell of about 2 1/2 months with no pounds lost. I hung tight, started working out, played with my eating plan and **finally** started losing pounds again.

Now, lest I sound like I'm complaining, I have regularly and on schedule lost about a dress size every six weeks. So although the scale got stuck, with the exercising and staying 100% on-plan, no matter what, I am shrinking on schedule, just not getting lighter on a regular basis. But hey, nobody knows what I weigh but everyone sees how relatively small I am.

Hey, maybe I'm the world's only 5'8 262-lb woman in a size 16W...? :D Probably not, but it also probably is relatively rare. Under all this jiggle is A LOT of muscle. Case in point, I picked up my friend's husband just to prove I could, back in January. He's pretty scrawny, about 150 lbs. Picked him up like a sack of potatoes...not bad for a broad. :)
