Red face 25 and overweight! Changing my life! :)

My name is Jessica. I'm 25 and 312 pounds. I've been heavy my whole life but had been about the same size (22) since 2003. Last year I started going up a size and it was really depressing. I didn't really do anything at the time but now I've decided to finally get off my butt and do something about my weight. My biggest inspiration was this last season of the Biggest Loser. I love Jillian Michael's and have been doing her 30 Day Shred for a week now. I have been walking at least 5 times a week for 3 weeks and will be doing Race for the Cure next Saturday. I've lost my first 10 pounds as of 6/2. I'm going to only weigh myself every other week cause I get a little obsessed with numbers. Lol. I'm a department manager at Target and live in the St. Louis area. I really excited about sharing my journey here cause I really need to know there are others out here struggling. So here's to hoping by the end of the summer I can read this and celebrate how far I've come!

I can definitely sympathize! Im 21 and a week ago, I weighed in at 240. A year ago I was 175, so needless to say, I packed it on! I too will only be weighing myself every other week for the same reasons. Im very impressed with how much exercise youve been doing. I have yet to add fitness to my routine, so congratulations! Youre doing great!

It's wonderful that you've found the motivation to exercise so much. I've been meaning to add it to my routine, but keep putting it off! Let me know if you have any tips for finding that inspiration, and the drive to keep at it . Good luck to you !
