It's too hot to cook so we may just have salad, berries and turkey sandwiches.

Chicken pizza on whole wheat pita and homemade soup. Blueberries and a gluten-free lemon tart for dessert. Mmmm ... pizza ... hungry already.

I have had the worst craving for a burrito...I think it's cause my assistant has had one for lunch every day this week....so I'm going to have one but I'm going to make my own and make it healthy with a whole grain tortilla, low salt salsa, whole grain rice, black beans and low fat cheese. I'm going to have steamed broccoli as a side. I'm hoping that will satisfy my craving!

It was a very small (3oz) bacon chop baked over 19oz sliced potato, onion and carrots, sprinkled with 2 tsp brown sugar.
It's based on a family recipe with a whole shank of ham and far more sugar and the best bit of it was all the fat where the sugar had seeped in and caramelized..... excuse me while I drool.
What I had was great, because it was a taste I love but far, far, far healthier.

Franks and beans. It was one of my husband's "oh no she's going to be home soon and I have nothing planned for dinner!" dinners. That's okay. Light franks, vegetarian beans, lots of fiber and protein, very filling and tasty.

Then I ate the soft pretzel he brought home from the dutch market, with a slice of cheese, so it threw my carbs way high on top of the beans.

Not too worried about it, though, as my calories have been low the last few days, so eating closer to the top of my level is fine for a day.

Last night was whole wheat pasta with 97% lean ground beef and caramelized onion&garlic sauce and 2% mozarella cheese sprinkled on top.

Tonight is payday! So we're meeting friends for sushi.

I have absolutley no clue - B/L/D are going to be guessing games all weekend.
DH has booked us in for the weekend at the Hilton for my birthday. Its just the 2 of us and it will be so nice to get away. At least I can count on salads and meat for lunch and dinner - Breakfast is scaring me though! @@
