Ok, so first off... I am EXHAUSTED today...but it's a good exhausted. I had a full weekend off from the BF... we only see each other on the weekends but honestly it was nice to just have a weekend to myself. Lots of soul searching being done in the relationship department these days.

Anyway, I got a lot of stuff done around the house and yard, ate healthy all weekend, no drinking, no smoking (I'm now on day 3 cold turkey and feeling pretty good) I went to yoga yesterday....it has been a very long time since I went and let me tell you my body is telling me how out of shape I am today. I seriously have aches in muscles that I forgot existed. I can also tell how fat I really am because of how 'deep' the aches are...like it's the muscles that ache...not the inches of fat on top of those muscles. Despite the aches, it is very much worth it to feel my body and mind just waking up.

I've set some goals to work towards. I want to be out of the 200s for good by the fall. I'm setting a date of Sept. 28 (which is the last Monday of the month and Monday is going to be my weigh in day. I'm also going to train to be able to run a 5K before the end of September. I'm starting week on of C25K this evening and am going to push through these aches!

Ok, thats all I just am feeling very empowered and motivated today, it's like I found what was missing and I wanted to share my good mood with all of you!

Nice to meet you!

Congrats on the running goal! You must be quite fit. I can't even imagine suych a thing for myself.

I'm a hardcore introvert. I totally understand how such a weekend can rejuvenate and refresh. Nice!
