Default Blue Team Challenge – Earn Your Merit Badges

Below is a list of the 20 + Merit Badges that you can earn while at Summer Camp. If you can think of any other activities that need Merit Badges, let me know and we’ll add to the list.

How do you earn a Merit Badge?

I was going to make a comprehensive guide on how to earn your badges with a number of requirements that need to be met. Then I realized that this is only a 14 week challenge, and those Scouts don’t have jobs or families, so they have a lot more free time to complete those requirements. So, since we are all busy people, I’m going to let you make your own requirements. Once you have “earned” your badge, post below and let us know what you did to earn it. Here are some examples:

Running - I earned my Running Merit Badge this week by running three times at the indoor track. My best time for the mile was 12 minutes.

Other ideas: You could post a healthier version of a favorite recipe for the Cooking Badge, tell us your favorite money savings tips for the Being Frugal Badge, post a picture of your garden for the Gardening Badge, etc.

Once the Badges have been earned, I’ll start passing out the actual Badges.
