So here I was all happy that the scale at home, was reading my weight at 250 (a 15 pound loss)
I go to work that morning and decide to weigh myself at the gym at work, and find out that I actually weigh 257.3 to be exact. That sucks!
So looks like I have a longer road ahead of me than what I thought....

Don't despair! You can weigh different amounts at different times of day, even on the same scale... So just use whatever scale you started with, and always weigh at the same time of day, wearing whatever you have on at that time. It's the amount of loss you're looking for, not the absolute numbers.

Were you nude when you weighed at home ? And clothed when you weighed at the gym ? And had you eaten breakfast and had water to drink ?
Those will all make a differance. I agree with Jay weigh on the same scale under the same conditions and use that for your record. Your weight loss is the same no matter what the scale says.

Stick to one scale and save yourself the grief. :P Besides, like everyone else has said, your weight can fluctuate from hour to hour.

It's still a 15 pound loss no matter which scale you use! So woo-hoo!!

Ignore it. Your scale is the only one that counts. I weigh myself on MINE ONLY and on noone elses. Though my scale and the hospitals scale is exactly the same I found last week!

Thanks guys, I had to rant about that, but am over it. I guess that I will stick to one scale and be glad that I did lose weight.
I appreciate all the feed back....
