Better than whole wheat. It actually can taste better because, to me anyway, it seems like a more "complete" food. If you've gone whole wheat may as well try whole grain and see if you can stand it. BellaDiva 05-21-2009, 03:28 PM I like whole grain bread way more than white, can't stand white bread. I'm not sure which is best but my roommate and I made a game out of who could find the bread with the most grains in it at the store. murphmitch 05-21-2009, 04:57 PM Love the Ezekial breads! Cebsme 05-21-2009, 05:07 PM Not a low carber but I gotta add my love for the Ezekiel Breads. They maybe a little bit more expensive, but absolutely worth it. They are filling and tasty and full of good stuff! The Ezekiel Breads do not have any flour so no worries about refined etc. Snacks hummus, and raw nuts are my favorites Stevie713 05-22-2009, 11:44 AM b Cebsme 05-22-2009, 12:41 PM I get Ezekial bread at my local grocery store, which is Albertson's. Its found normally in the freezer section. For me its next to the frozen organic stuff usually. redheadedpixie 05-23-2009, 10:42 PM I just found a bread from Julian bakery that is only 1 net carb per slice. It is called smart carb #1. I like whole wheat bread. This bread has 12g fiber and 12g protein per slice. It is expensive (over $8 a loaf!) but if you are a bread person like me SOOO worth it. You can either order directly from them online or Whole Foods has it in the refrigerated section. Their website offers a list of places where you can buy it retail! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this bread! vBulletin® v3.6.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
