Default Counting tools?

I'm a gadget/internet kind of girl and I'm looking for a good online or downloadable program for keeping track of what I eat and the calories I intake. I tried using mypyramid.gov but the site runs SO slowly it drove me bonkers.

I know I could just use the ol' pen and paper business but that's a little too low-tech for me. Hehe. Especially as I start wanting to keep it pretty and I have to have just the right pen or a nice notebook or blah blah blah.

Thanks!

I love the CalorieKing Nutrition and Exercise Manager. You can get a 7 day trial for free, but then you have to pay to download it.

I use thedailyplate.com. Once you get used to it, it's really great. You enter your current weight, goals, etc and it will tell you how many calories it suggests you eat per day. You can also enter and keep track of exercise.

I just joined buddy slim . com and I like it. You can make a profile, put in your weight, height, overall level of daily activity, etc, and it tells you what your basal metabolic rate is (just an estimate, of course). Then you can tally up your daily calorie intake using the database, and type of exercise taken and for how long, and it'll estimate your calorie surplus or deficit for the day. I like it so far! It also makes you a daily pie chart that shows the percentage of calories you've consumed in fat, sugar, alcohol, etc.

i like fitday.com. it's free and easy to use. sometimes have to enter in custom foods, but fairly good overall for a free program!

Thanks! I'll look into each of those to decide what I like best.

I don't have an iPhone, unfortunately. I DO have internet access on my phone, though. Maybe I'll find a phone-friendly website.

I've used everything listed so far, my favorite however is caloriecount.about.com and I use the software version of FitDay for recording my weight loss (love the charts and what not)
