Announcements and Forum Help! - Invalid File response when trying to load a picture

Is anyone else getting a error message when they try to change their avatar picture or attach a photo?

I get a message saying "invalid file". It's just a jpg file, and the size falls within the limits.

My co-worker just told me its cause the computer thinks my picture is ugly. Meanie. :mad:

You're lovely and you shouldn't change a thing :) However, a flip has been switched and it might work now. Could you give it another shot?

I can upload and attachment jpg to a thread now, but I still can't change my avatar, even to one I had previously. RangerChic had the same problem changing her avatar, according to our BL thread.

Me too, me too!! I have been desperately trying all day to upload my new avatar (to celebrate 110 lbs lost, hehe), but every time I try, it says "Upload of file failed." I can't figure out why--the avatar is just like all of the ones I've used in the past, is in .jpg format and sized correctly, etc, but it just won't work! Is there anything you can do to help me? :?: I would be VERY appreciative! :dizzy:

I can't load any pictures at all - it keeps saying invalid file and I am following all of the standards...haven't had any problems until today...

I just tried both uploading and linking to a profile picture that fits within the sizes recommended. It's a jpg, if that helps...

I had this issue the other day with changing my avatar. I fixed it by deleting the avatar I was currently using then uploading a new one.

It's been doing that to me for months now! I just keep uploading the picture and it eventually works :?:
