Hey everyone. I'm Courtney and I'm 21. I've struggled with my weight all of my life but I am ready to give up yo-yo dieting and make a REAL lifestyle change. I'm 5'11 and at a current weight of around 245 lb.s. My ultimate goal is to reach 165lb.s but I am excited to just start losing! I have been trying to tweak my diet to include healthier choices and have started to exercise daily. However, my biggest problem is trying to decipher between good and bad food choices. It's a constant struggle that I am trying to overcome.
Anyway, I hope to meet some great people here and pick up some tips and a lot of support. God knows I'm going to need it!

wellcome! i'm so glad to see you starting to make a change, and a change for life, at such a young age. it is the best decision you can make, not only to look better, but to live a better, healthier life.
as far as food choices, i've noticed reading ang gathering information about food (like superfoods, eg.) effects me in a way that i choose more nutritive foods and find it easier to stay away from empty calories. information is the power.
(english is not my mother tongue, but i hope i managed to explain! )
