Where is everyone? I'm still here and still pregnant! They will induce on Friday if she doesn't come before then.

Lori, Hi! I just got back from California last night. Had a great trip out there--saw lots of family--ate and drank too much. : (

I think I would eat and drink too much if I went to California too :) My original due date was last Friday, May 1st. At the office I go to, they don't let anyone go over 41 weeks. The 41 week mark for me is this Friday, so that is when they will induce me. She still has a day or so to come on her own but I'm not really feeling like she will :( Very excited and very nervous! Can't believe I am going to be a mom in only a couple of days.

Lori She must be really comfortable in there--such a good Mommy. You picked a name, right? You are in my prayers--I know that you'll be a great mother and your DH will be a great daddy. Is the baby's name all ready?

Yes Lisa, her name will be Phoebe Lynn! We have a boy name picked out too (you know... just in case haha :)). Everything is ready at the house, and DH and I are ready too. Now she just needs to make an appearance! The doctor's office is going to call me this afternoon with a time to be at the hospital tomorrow at.

For some reason I've been having a hard time accessing this web site and it freezes up my computer then shuts down explorer. It's so frustrating!

Lori: I hope all goes well with your labor & delivery--we'll be pulling for you. It's exciting and yet at the same time a little scary/overwhelming. You're going to be fine. You'll be a mom just in time for Mother's Day :-)

Lisa: Glad you had a nice trip--the eating is always rough.

The students are moving out of the residence halls so the campus will be quiet next week. It's always kind of sad to see them leave. It just means that we'll be crazy soon, lol.

I'm having the radioactive iodine treatment done on Monday afternoon--my levels have come down considerably since my first visit with the doctor and for that I'm happy. The fear factor in all this is that they don't let my levels creep up too much so that I start feeling woozy, fuzzy tired. I'm not allowed to work for three days so I'll be off beginning Monday afternoon and coming back to work on Friday. It'll be like a mini vacation. I'll be connected through my computer at home.

Melissa - why does it get crazy when the students leave? Good luck on Monday!

I'm 5th on the induction list for today, so if the hospital is really busy I may not even make it in. Boo :( Just waiting for a phone call now, but I expect to be waiting for quite some time!

[b]Lori,[b] our office handles the freshman orientation programs so we coordinate four summer sessions where students and parents come on campus. As the current students leave we're processing the new ones. It's a crazy time but fun. I really hate the prep work but once it starts it just falls into place.

I hope everything goes well for you today...

No baby today. Apparently there are lots of other pregnant women going into labor on their own and I'm not one of them haha :) They didn't have any open rooms. I'm scheduled in though on Sunday at 7:30 in the morning. I'm looking on the bright side - I can see Star Trek tomorrow, and Sunday AND Monday there are doctors on call who I have seen before so no matter what she will be delivered by someone I know!
