Announcements and Forum Help! - Charity donations?

Im not sure if this is against the rules or not. So i wanted to ask before I posted it. Im doing a walk for cystic fibrosis and im collecting donations. Are we able to post the link to the site on the forums to allow people to donate to it?

Sorry but it's really not allowed. If we allow ones for worthy causes, we will also have to allow ones for donations for my liposuction!
