I am copying this from the calorie counting thread because I like it so much and not all of us here in the 100 lb. Club count calories.

We are all good about praising and encouraging others but often don't do the same for ourselves. I have realized that having low self esteem has contributed to my gaining so much weight and I need to praise and encourage myself as well as others.

Do you? If so, add to this thread!

I will go first. I am proud of "Me" because I stuck to my plan this week even though it was a hectic, emotionally draining week. I am proud of "Me" because I am a kind and caring person.

Great idea for a thread!

I am proud of me because I am teaching my children how to eat to live. I am proud of me because I have walked on my treadmill for 10 out of the last 12 days even though my legs are aching.

I am proud of me because last night while pmsing i bought a chocolate bar. I took one bite, realized it didn't taste as good as i remembered it did... so i threw it away! not worth it to waste my calories on something that is not 100% delicious.

I am proud of me today because my co workers ordered tgi fridays tonight for dinner, and instead of getting some horribly fattening and high calorie thing, I ordered grilled shrimp and steamed brocolli, looked up the calorie content and recorded it in the daily plate. And you know what, it was very good and satisfying. also, I have no regrets about dinner. woohoo!

I am proud of me today because I am doing great at losing weight and eating right when I would have given up weeks ago. I push myself hard.

I am proud of me because i completed my grocery shopping without buying a single off plan item that was calling my name. I even walked by the gelato fresco fresh pumpkin ice cream which has often been my downfall...

I'm proud of myself because I've been PMSing big time for the past two days and have only caved in once to have a WW giant fudge bar then either went walking on my treadmill or took the kids swimming when craving were kitting me again :)

I am proud of me today because despite no loss this week, I didn't lose my mind over it, but resolved to figure out why I had no loss this week.

I am proud of me for staying on this new eating plan for 3+ days now. It's sort of easy to be proud because I feel GREAT!

I just posted about this on the CIC forum, but perhaps it's more appropriate for this thread. I am proud of *me* today because a friend and I went to a health food store that offers all kinds of amazing, delicious-looking vegan alternatives to the kind of non-vegan junk I'm usually able to ignore (cookies, cake, chocolate/candy, ice cream, etc)... And I made sure I didn't bring my wallet into the store. :D

I'm proud of all of you!!!

I'm proud of me because after one of the worst days I had in recent memory, I still did my workout yesterday and stayed on plan. And as tired as I was at 7pm, we still made a healthy dinner, where I just wanted to crawl in bed in die.

I'm proud of me because today I am wearing a pair of khaki pants at the office that I bought over two years ago for a work funtion on short notice and couldn't even come close to buttoning... today they are loose and comfortable!

Hehe, thank you!! I suspect my friend thought I was a little nuts (I didn't explicitly say why I was accidentally-on-purpose leaving my wallet in the car, but he's no dummy, heh) but ya gotta do what ya gotta do, right?
