It's time for the 3FC general weigh in thread. Everyone is welcome to join, just jump in whenever your official weigh in day rolls around. Good luck, everyone!
Me: 188, down 2 pounds from last week. Yay, a good week to take me down back into the the 180's! Being in the 190's scares me... that's the last stop before I hit the over two hundred mark, and I don't ever, ever want to go there again. Now I just want to ease more into safety territory.

Hi! I am new to the forum, but I weighed in at 201.5 this morning. 34.5 less than I was a year ago. Slow and steady.
I have been at a plateau between 200.9 and 205 for the past 2 months, but I have just started OA and got back off sugar and flour this week. Today is day 4 without a binge.
Hopefully I will see Onederland by next week!!!
Haven't been there in a VERY long time!!!

How often should i be weighing myself? I was told weekly is bad, and you dont get accurate results (due to hormones, water weight, maybe you havent been to the bathroom.. etc); so i take my real results monthly.

207 as of yesterday morning! Thats 5lbs down since my start 3 weeks ago!
Jinksie, there is no right or wrong frequency of scale-checking. Some people weigh daily because they want to better understand their bodies' normal fluctuations, while others weigh weekly or monthly so they're more likely to see a downward trend.
Also, weighing less frequently definitely improves the signal-to-noise ratio, but it will never be a perfect measure of one's progress. The scale doesn't take into account muscle growth (or loss), water retention, TOM, or anything else that contributes to your weight (unless you get one of those expensive, fancy-shmancy scales that give you all kinds of data, but even those numbers won't be totally accurate).
So, basically, do what you find to be best for you! ;)

I weigh daily, but take my "true" weight for the week as what I weigh when I wake up on Fridays. It works pretty well for me. I can get an idea of how I'd doing through the week, but since only the Friday weigh in "counts" I don't stress about little bumps that occur normally.
Really, what works for you is the right way. You may have to experiment to find out what way this is for you.
