Support Groups - McSkinney's Loozing Floozies--MAY we welcome you to our group?

05-01-2009, 02:04 PM

We're a group of ladies who try to make time for each other even during our most hectic times (hint, hint )!!

We would LOVE to :welcome: any newbies to our group and welcome BACK any "oldies" who've been too busy to post lately!

We talk about anything and everything here, so no need to be shy--come on in!

05-01-2009, 03:19 PM
I just realized our April thread was above our May thread on the page--I want to keep this one over it, so everyone will see that it's here..... :)

05-01-2009, 09:44 PM
Thanks for starting the new thread Cheryl.

05-02-2009, 04:09 PM
Mom and I started a garden today. I don't know. I'm not feeling motivated to workout today. I can't describe it. It kinda sucks.

The most excercise I got today so far was turning the dirt in the garden and walking walmart.

Any motive ladies?

05-03-2009, 10:20 PM
Hey Gayle..........did Steve capture you and take you away for your birthday???
Are you missing but having action?

I hope that you had a happy one. ;)

05-04-2009, 10:48 AM
Late HAPPIES! to Gayle!!

We miss you!

Ok, Janice, time for more than a one-liner!!

Just think about those ABS for motivation!

Dee-I hope Gayle is getting some ACTION!

Jake is cutting 2 molars on the bottom, so we've had a long and fretful weekend. He was whiney and clingy (but that's OK--I kinda like clingy). I hate it when he feels bad, but if we can make it through these, maybe we'll have respite for awhile.

05-04-2009, 12:26 PM
Thanks. I know. I think I have been working it lately alot. I have to remember that I am seeing results in more muscle and less jiggle, rather than the scale. The scale is discouraging me. But I know I have lost a few inches on my thighs and definately my tummy so I have to look at that.

Good luck with those molars. Poor little guy.

Hey there, I'm a Newbie hoping to "join" your group!! I love the name, I'm assuming a "Grey's" lover came up with it!!!!

Hey there, I'm a Newbie hoping to "join" your group!! I love the name, I'm assuming a "Grey's" lover came up with it!!!!

:welcome: :welcome2:

Nope, McSkinney's been around long long before McDreamey!!

We've been a bit slow lately, but SO glad you've posted with us!!

I'm Cheryl, been coming to 3fc for around 8 years now (dang! that long?). I have a little boy, Jake, who'll be 15 months old on the 7th. Been working, unsuccessfully, on making a little brother or sister for him. Having fun trying, though  !!!

05-06-2009, 10:06 PM ( Cheryl - you are a little devil. I was wondering. Jake is growing up it seems only yesterday that you told us you were pregnant and now he's 15 months already. Where does the time go??
M Dizzie - Welcome, it is quiet around here lately, we'll have to give the other floozies a wake up call.
Dee, Gayle, Suzie, Shelley, Amy, enough already, come post.
We miss you, come out, come out werever you are. ( (

05-06-2009, 10:31 PM
sorry I have been busy, working like 9-10 hours a day at McDonald's. I'm just popping in for a minute to check up on things. When I have more time I will post more. I'm alive lol

05-07-2009, 06:50 AM
Gosh-where the heck have I been? I hope everyone is doing well. I try to keep up with you all on FB!

Welcome to M. Dizzie!

Hey guys I have been busy planning dinner for over 100 people for May 15th. It is mom's 75 birthday and mom and dad's 55th anniversary party. We are having a dinner and dance. Head table and all. I bought a beautiful dress for the big day. As we I type I am breaking in my new shoes.

I am loving my car and the freedom it has given me.

05-07-2009, 07:12 PM
Wow, Dee! You have a big task ahead. Enjoy the planning!

Decided to use pink & blue until we know for sure!!!

I am so very happy for you!

05-08-2009, 01:33 PM
Hi girls! Thank you for the birthday wishes! I ended up ill on my birthday & our anniversary, the following day. Feeling better now I think... I also had a baby niece delivered with health issues, a mass on her lung she is in one of our larger cities receiving care. Just a hectic few weeks going on here! Happy to read everyone is doing well!

I am so very happy for you!

Thanks! You know I've been working hard at it!! :o

It's really funny, because last night Stewart was all smiles--you know, he's the man and all that. Well, this morning he was like, "welllll, I kinda wish you'd waited awhile....."

My response: "Well, babe, there's a whole box of condoms in the top drawer that has never been opened....." Men.

(I hope that's not too x-rated for 3fc!!)

I hope you are feeling better.

I also hope your niece gets a good report. Are her parents having to stay in a hotel room to be close to the hospital? I hope they have family to stay with.

 ya, Cheryl

05-08-2009, 04:02 PM
Wow Cheryl awesome way to go. You are an expert at practicing! When is your due date?

Gayle I am sorry to hear that you weren't feeling well on your special days. I hope that you have make up dates planned.
I was wondering who the little one was on FB. My prayers are going her way for health and healing. Hugs.

05-09-2009, 11:02 AM
We probably won't know until Monday if the baby will need surgery...she has had a mass on her lung and they had thought through test results it had resolved, but it is still there. She was born on Thursday and will be transferred on Monday to a different hospital in the city. Her mommy (my niece) is still in the hospital too. She actually thought she was getting past the childbearing years when she found out she was pregnant, had the baby at age 41. They have friends to stay with in KC so that will help. Please keep baby Kristen in your prayers!

Do need need to start thinking of baby names for you Cheryl???? :-)

05-09-2009, 12:57 PM
Congratulations, Cheryl and Stewart!

Gayle-I was also wondering what baby you were speaking of on FB. Prayers to the family.

05-10-2009, 02:57 PM

Hope everyone had a nice Mother's Day, I worked all weekend but it was fun. Mother's Day is a very big event in our Long term Care Home.
Prayers for your neice and baby Kristen, Gayle. (

05-11-2009, 08:46 PM
Hi guys just popping in.
This week will be busy getting everything ready for the weekend of partying for mom and dad's anniversary.
Lots of partying right through the weekend.

05-12-2009, 10:37 AM
Hey! I'm with Dee--busy busy around here, too! Found out yesterday that the loan docket I've been working on for almost 2 weeks may be a no-go at the bank! Geesh, all that work for nothin'. Um um um.

Everything else is good. Jake is still going through his clingy stage. Wants Mamma all the time!

05-13-2009, 01:28 PM
Little Jake is going to have a hard time sharing mommy when the new bundle comes. How are you feeling?

Gayle how is your nieces baby doing? I am praying that everything works out and that there is no surgery.
Is the house lonely or are you enjoying it?

Janice I am glad that you enjoyed your mother's day even though you worked.

Shelley when I swim I think of seeing you and being in Florida because that is when I changed my music last on my swim mp3 player. That was sure fun. I still get mixed up when I see your posts with the picture of us, I keep thinking that I posted a message.

Today I have an appointment to get my legs waxed, a hair cut and I have to go pick up my dress. Busy busy busy and it is pouring rain up and cool. We also had the guys come down and drop a load of sand on the driveway so that they can stucco the house. They were suppose to start tomorrow but with the rain they are delayed another day at their other job site. It is suppose to rain tomorrow too so we will have to wait and see when it will happen.

Time to get ready.

Have a good one.

05-18-2009, 10:30 AM
Ahhh, I need a hair cut terribly.

Jake is going to have a hard time sharing me. He's very possessive over me, not that I mind right NOW, but it's going to be something I'll have to deal with.

The child is so SMART, but he has no social skills to speak of because he's always been an only child, even at the baby-sitter's.

05-19-2009, 08:13 AM
Okay, where is everyone. Are you all out doing yardwork??? I check in everyday but not much action around here. We opened the pool on the weekend and the weather report is looking warm and sunny for the next week. We debated about waiting until next weekend to open because it has been cold most days for weeks. Glad we decided to open it anyway.
Going to try to get my flowers planted tomorrow, then I work the rest of the week.
We have elderly neighbors that had a large tree break in a wind storm. Doug, Amanda and I went and cut it down and piled all the wood. It turned in to a bigger job than we thought, it took most of Sunday. We have to look out for our seniors.
Hope you are all doing okay, and remember to check in once in a while.
I miss you all! ( (

05-19-2009, 10:10 AM
Hello everyone!

We're having reviewers from D.C. in the office today, so I thought I'd stop by this morning, before my nerves got too frazzled!

Janice, our weather here is cooler than normal, but it's supposed to heat up within the next couple of days. I have the feeling that when it does, it's gonna get HOT with no going back.

I agree about taking care of the seniors. I feel like they are underappreciated as a group. They were/are a generation that knew HARD WORK to make a living for their families.

05-20-2009, 09:42 AM
Hey guys, how are you all doing?
We need to show what we got and get some action going here. It is just too darn quiet.

Well it was a long, long weekend filled with partying and lots of loving family. New memories were made but I am pooped, and sore.
Time to recover.
I will be off to the Y shortly, and then later in the afternoon I have a dentist appointment.
I have the crew here finally putting stucco on the house. Because of the snow and rain they are more than two weeks late. It is looking fantastic. We went with a blue grey. It is similar to our painted stucco that is chipped.

GTG love you all.

05-20-2009, 12:00 PM
Dee, I'm glad you had a great week-end--you deserve it!

I know what you mean about being behind because of the weather--our rice and cotton farmers are about to start suffering BIG. I have the feeling my job is going to be really hard next year.

The D.C. review went OK yesterday. It wasn't really what I expected, mainly a channel for us to vent our concerns with the leadership of the state office. I probably complained too much, but I'll happily blame the hormones :)

Morning sickness is starting. I've been nauseaus for the past two days and the smells are really starting to get to me.

05-21-2009, 09:57 AM
Ok guys I am bring this back up to the top.......only Cheryl has posted. Come and check in with us and let us know how you are doing.

Cheryl I hope that you won't have morning sickness for too long. I can't remember but how long did it last when you were pregnant with Jake? How about some saltines?

Have a good one everyone. I am off for a swim.

05-21-2009, 06:48 PM
Dee, pretty much the whole 8 months with him :p

I'm not full-fledged puking (yet), but I only puked a handfull of times with Jake. I'm just nauseous and very sensitive to smells.

I'm VERY ready for my 1st doctor's appt. I wish I hadn't scheduled it so far in the future. I don't want to wait another week to "meet" my new baby!!!

05-22-2009, 06:51 PM
Here's wishing everyone a HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!

05-22-2009, 07:10 PM
Where is everyone. I think FB has captured our members.
Cheryl - poor you, it must be awful to feel ill all the time.
Dee - have you opened your pool yet. We opened ours last week so just need some sunshine to get warmed up. Your house sounds like its getting a facelift. I think it will be lovely. Neat colour.
Shelley, Gayle, Suzy, - where are you guys.
Have a wonderful weekend all. I am working tomorrow and going to a baby shower for my neice on Sunday.

05-24-2009, 12:09 PM
Janice enjoy your family at the shower. How old is the baby, boy or girl?
We have decided to take down our pool. It is getting old and we aren't sure if it is safe cause there is a few rust spots. We have had it now for 16 years. We still have the hot tub to dip into. For the summer we will keep the temp on it way down.

How is everyone's weekend? We have been busy cleanning up after the stucco crew left. We still have to clean out a shed today and our pool house ( can we still call it that after we take our pool down?) I want to til up some of the ground where the pool was for a veggie garden.

Come on and post.....we are lonely here.

05-25-2009, 01:20 PM
Here I sit twiddling my thumbs.........

Where are you all?

It is a rainy day here. It is a ping!good thing I booked a massage. I hate staying indoors when it is sunny.

We got the yard done and the shed but didn't manage to finish the pool house or the trailer. I can't wait to go camping.

I advertised the cross stitch that I had from Viv. A lady came down and gave me $300 plus is going to scan patterns and kits that she doesn't want so that I can sell them again. I had only wanted $200 so that is awesome.

i hope that you ladies are still alive and kicking, I know that Shelley is alive, I don't know about kicking after her fall but she dusted herself off and just kept on going like the energizer bunny.

05-26-2009, 09:20 AM
Good Morning Ladies,
The baby hasn't been born yet so they don't know if its a girl or boy. She is due in five weeks. It was fun even though I would rather have been outside on that sunny day.
I think your rain is heading this way Dee, supposed to get rain for Wednesday and Thursday.
Just going to head outside and stain the deck before I have to go to work.
Shelley - you are a warrior. I would have sat down and cried not keep going.
Hope everyone else is well and staying out of trouble.

05-26-2009, 10:16 AM
Pooie on FB.

I had a good week-end. Co. picnic on Saturday, NOT A THING on Sunday and family runion yesterday.

I did NOT want to come back to work today. I am to the point where I absolutely loathe my job. No matter how much time I take off, I never want to come back--it just doesn't get any better. Sigh.

05-26-2009, 09:29 PM
Ah Cheryl, I feel bad for you. It sucks when we have to work for a living. It is especially hard when you don't like it. It must be hard leaving Jake, I remember hating leaving Amanda at the sitters. Soon you'll be off again and your hands will be full. (
I forgot it was a long weekend in the States. Canada was the weekend before.
J (

05-27-2009, 10:36 AM
Only one day until I get to see the new baby! I'm so excited! Now, if I can just make it through today........

Jake woke up crying around 2:30 this morning, so, of course, I got up and rocked him for awhile. I don't know if he had a bad dream, or what, but Mommy is TIRED this morning! :) I love rocking him back to sleep and reassuring him that he's ok--no complaints there!

Anyway, just wanted to drop in and say Hey!

05-28-2009, 12:04 AM
How did your first visit with your baby go Cheryl? That is so exciting!

Where has Suzy been.....we haven't heard from her in a long time.

05-29-2009, 09:37 AM
Come on over guys.....

It is time to gather for a group hug {{{HUG}}}

05-29-2009, 12:20 PM
Dee & Janice, so glad the two of you are still here, still visiting with me!

My dr's appointment was really good yesterday. I got to see the peanut--he/she is SO CUTE!! I could see the little heartbeat and it made me so happy. No twins this time around either, but there's always next time!!

Janice, I admire people who can wait to find out the sex of their baby until it's born. I'm one of those who wants to know!

I agree with Dee--we need a group HUG!

05-29-2009, 03:49 PM
Found a peanut, found a peanut, found a peanut in Cheryl's tummy.....
Aww the heart beat.

Suzy you tempted me on your site with your sugar cookie bars. They look so good I am going to make some.

05-29-2009, 11:08 PM ( Woo Hoo its the weekend. This is my weekend off. Not sure what the weather is supposed to be. I hope its nice so I can get out garage saleing.
What are you two up to?
Cheryl - I am so excited for you getting to see the baby, I hope you are feeling better and not as sick as you were with Jake. When is your due date? Do twins run in your family? Gee, I'm nosy. (

05-30-2009, 04:27 PM
Did ya miss me???? :D

Sorry I have been MIA! Too many things happening in a day (week) and time gets away from me. I am guilty of using FB to stay in touch. I cut way back on all of my sites visited and basically use that one because I can stay in touch with so many people in one shot. Mom is at stage 3 heart failure and requiring more frequent trips to the doc out of town etc. She went this past week and will go again toward the end of June. The first few weeks of June she goes here to our local doc. Fun, fun... I have been running all of her errands and doing her grocery shopping also.

Sounds like everyone is good! Little "Peanut" is growing and will soon be able to know if we are having a boy or girl. I vote girl this time! :D

05-31-2009, 01:53 PM

05-31-2009, 11:26 PM
Happy Birthday Shelley my dear!
I wish I could be there to give you a big hug.
I hope that you had a wonderful day.

06-01-2009, 06:07 AM
Thanks for the birthday wishes! I am very guilty of not checking in. FB has too many options to see everyone!! Miss you all!

06-02-2009, 10:52 AM
Hey all!

Shelley, hope your birthday was a really great one! How are the girls?

I'll start us a new thread when I have more e....n....e.....r....g....y.....

06-02-2009, 09:38 PM
Gayle I am sorry to hear that your mom isn't doing very well. My mommy to is sick. She has phneumonia again and she has fractured a vertabra in her spine from the predisone.
We sure do miss you. How has business been

Cheryl I hope that you get the energy that you are looking for. that little peanut sure takes a lot of energy out of you.

Shelley what did you do for your birthday. It was nice that it fell on the weekend.

Janice we have had 6 consecutive months that have been below normal. When is summer going to come? Who said something about global warming.

Suzy come back and play...........leave that quilting and grand babies be for a few minutes so you can check in with us.

Larry is loving his new job, I am not so sure as he isn't home as much but the extra money is great.

06-02-2009, 11:20 PM
Hi girls! Eventful week here! Steve is out of town and I'm juggling job, mom & Allie to and from classes/appointments. Had an uncle placed on Hospice care (expected just days left) and we had a tornado floating in the area today. It touched down but I have heard of damage at this point. Fun, fun!
Dee, the job I love other then the new Director Corporate hired, he is a complete idiot. I like him as much as he likes me! LOL! He is by far my favorite person. I usually get along well with men, but for some reason, we seem to not hit it off. oh, I know why, he is an idiot. :-)

How is our little "peanut"???????

06-03-2009, 12:10 PM
Ugh. I don't know if it's because I'm two years older or because I have a 16-month-old toddler, but I am completely fatiqued with this pregnancy. There's nothing I'd love to do more than shut my office door, turn off the light and crash in my floor!

On top of already being tired, Stewart told me last night that his work is requiring him be there at 7 a.m. instead of 8 a.m. starting Thursday and lasting who-knows-how-long. So now I'm going to have to start getting up before 6 a.m. so I can have my shower out of the way and be "ready to go" when Jake wakes up. One of my small blessings has been being able to sleep an extra hour because Stewart spends that time with Jake in the mornings.

Sigh. Makes me *more* tired just thinking about it.

06-03-2009, 02:17 PM
Cheryl, could Stewart watch Jake at night so then you could shower? It would change your schedule, but maybe you could get some extra sleep and still have the "me" time. I could tell a HUGE difference in my aches & pains having my kids 13 years apart.

06-05-2009, 08:37 AM
Good Morning Ladies,
The weather looks nice outside today, if it would only warm up a bit more. Haven't been in the pool yet its too cold. 60 degrees.
I am doing a 5K walk on Sunday for ALS. I hope it doesn't rain.
What is everyone else up to?

06-08-2009, 09:57 AM
Got to bump this back up to the top, we really are LOSING floozies, nobody will ba able to find us.

We just got back from our first camping trip this year. It has been so cool this spring and it didn't dissapoint us, it was still so cool. Larry kept me warm.

Janice how did the walk go? Any rain.

Gayle I am glad that you enjoy your job. Minus the director of course but hopefully you cn avoid him most days.

Cheryl I was really tired with Jason. I needed to sleep every chance I got and I was only 20.

Time to get to the Y. I was just checking to see what kinda of trouble my Floozies were up to. It must have been lots of trouble cause I am not seeing any posts.

06-08-2009, 12:10 PM
I just found this one. I would like to sneak in and be in a good supportive group (who is just as silly/crazy as I am).

06-08-2009, 12:36 PM
Samantha, you are more than welcome to join our group!! We're going through a slow posting time right now, so don't lose us!!

The doctor admitted Stewart into the hospital today because he has been battling with chronic staph infections since last year. They've been giving him progressively stronger antibiotics and now they've decided to administer an I.V. drip of antibiotics directly into his system. I'm not sure how long he'll be in.

I had a $700 Tupperware party this week-end. When I told the hostess how much she would earn off of her party if she let me sign her up and use it as her 1st party she became VERY interested! She called my yesterday afternoon and said that she does want to sell! I'm so happy about that, because she'll be my 5th recruit!!! I have really busted my butt in this business since I joined in October and it's finally starting to pay off! I CLEARED right at $600 for the month of May in sales and royalties off of my team :) I know that may not sound like a lot, but to me it IS! When I get one more recurit (and maintain my sales quotas, of course), I'll start getting a $350 cash bonus each month on TOP of commissions/royalties, etc.!! Can you tell I'm excited???

Hope all of you are doing well, I'll try to check in tomorrow.

Love ya,

06-08-2009, 08:44 PM
Good for you Cheryl - you have worked hard to get things going.
Samantha welcome to our group, hopefully things will pick up around here soon. Some of us have been with the Floozies for a long time.
Dee - the walk went fine. It was cold and damp but at least it didn't rain. ALS is such a terrible disease. We pushed Gail in her wheelchair because she was determined to do the walk. She was exhausted today though.
Hope everyone else had a good weekend. Dee - I saw snow on the TV from Alberta, you better not be sending that my way or you are going to have to take me to Mexico.

06-08-2009, 10:33 PM
Looks like a few of our Floozies need an applause!!

Great job Cheryl in building the business up. It is not a small feat in today's economy. How is Stewart today???

Janice, what an awesome thing to do with the walk! Such a good cause too!

I am very proud of both of you!

Dee, the camping sounds like fun! We are having strange weather here, either unseasonably cold or hot and the evenings are downright nippy! Too cold for this chickie to sleep outdoors!

Welcome Samantha!

Well, mom went to the doc today. They called back this afternoon with changes for her meds after the blood work came back. I take her again next Monday for more lab. The following Monday I will take her to her out of town Cardiologist. I think I am becoming a nurse...

06-09-2009, 12:19 AM
Janice there hasn't been snow here but it has been cool. Everyone is pretty depressed. It has been so grey.

Gayle is your mom's blood being checked because of comidin (sp?)? My mom's blood has to be checked somethimes every 4 days to adjust her comidin. If she has any med changes it affects her blood. She is struggling now with a broken vertibra from taking predisone. It can break down your bones.

On the weekend we went garage saling and got a great deal on two brand new folding bikes. We have been looking at these and they are pretty expensive. Hand to have for camping as we are limited on room. We got both of them for $200, they still had the tags on them and had never been used. Now we are going to sell our other bikes and it should cover the new purchase.

Time for bed. Have a good night.

06-11-2009, 10:07 AM
how is everyone doing this week? Is anyone trying to lose some pounds or just maintaining? I feel like I should be fat by the sugar that I have been eating but I have gotten many compliments of how toned and slim I am over the last month so I guess it is in my head. Shelley I know you understand this one.

How about the weather patterns? Are you all having normal temps? It has been 6 months of record below temps here in a row. Not a lot of sun either which is unusal for us. This morning is bright and sunny, even if it will be only 65 it will feel warm.

Time to skip to the Y, sure do miss you girls.

06-11-2009, 10:55 AM
Good Morning Ladies,
The weather has just not been very warm, I haven't even been in the pool yet this year.
I have been losing pretty steady, I am down 13 pounds in the past couple of months. I need to stay away from sugar.

06-11-2009, 02:12 PM
Stewart is supposed to get to come home tomorrow. They kept him extra days because his staph is MRSA.

Our weather is not normal this year, either--it's HOT, but rainy rainy rainy. Our farmers are having cats because they can't get in the field to plant or to harvest. It's crazy.

I'm predicting an awful busy year at work next year!

06-11-2009, 02:14 PM
Good for you Janice, your doing great. The sugar monster gets you too, huh? I find if I can get away from eating sugar for three days then I am fine. It is just making those three days.

Hang in there you are doing wonderful.
Hopefully it will warm up before winter comes.

06-12-2009, 12:28 AM
Thanks for the email Cheryl! How sweet!
Tell Stewart to take care, sounds like MRSA can be fatal if not taken care of. A friend of a friend, of a friend :-) has a mom who started with staph, then they diagnosed her with "pus on the brain" now they are saying it is a parasite. Never heard of such a thing.

Prayers needed girls! A friend at work has a brother terminal with tongue/throat cancer, they say he will eventually suffocate from the swelling. He is having problems with pain control and I'm sure the family can also use an extra prayer or two right now trying to cope.
My uncle only has a matter of hours/days left. He is in a comatose state and has suffered through years of various cancers, heart problems etc.

Janice, you are doing great with the weight loss!

Dee, I am spotting a smart car or two in our area over the past few weeks. Do you like yours?

Gayle I will pray for your uncle and your friend and family. How terrible.

On a happier note I love my car. I actually drive everyday and enjoy it. Larry even loves to take it for a spin.

How is everyone else? Any plans for the weekend?

Gayle - prayers are sent to your uncle, your friend and you and your family. You have had so much heartache lately it makes me sad for you.
We all love you and are here when you need us.

My uncle passed and the funeral was today. Thank you so much for the prayers! He was a good man and will be dearly missed.

I hope all is well with everyone!

My Condolences Gayle to you and your family.
He's in a good place now, waiting for the rest of you to join him one day.

Gayle-I had to check in here to see about the funeral. I am so sorry about your uncle.

Dee-Your car is so cute! I showed it to Mike. He asks if you are actually able to drive it in the snow?

Cheryl-Yay on the Tupperware recruits and sales! Sorry to hear about Stewart.

Janice-I do check up on you at FB, as I do everyone. Sorry I forget to checkin here regularly.

Welcome, Samantha!

My weight is not good. I have gained 7 lbs. Exercising quite a bit, but eating is not under control at night. My pants are starting to get tighter, even though I am starting to get muscles from the training. See you all on FB.

Shelley I love you any size that you are. And I am sure you are not big.
LOL of course I can drive it in snow. Apparently Larry's friend that has a smart car that lives in the country says that it handles better than most cars on the highway. It has tracktion control and stability control as well. It is great to boot around in. It won awards for being the safest small car and it safer than a lot of mid size cars. It has a frame like a race car and has side and front air bags.

Gayle God Bless you and help you at this time.

Hey since we finally have weather that feels like June can anyone start a June thread? I don't know how.

Janice we broke down and openned our pool. Larry said that it was faster to open it than take it down. Dez is happy. We will take it down it fall.

Cheryl how is Stu doing? Any tupperware parties this week?

Well now I am late for the Y, I really have to go.

Have a good one.

Stew's good. Me, not so much! I'm still exhausted and head-achey and giving people around me fits because I'm so dang CRANKY. This pregnancy, so far, is a b*tch (and it's making me one, too). :(

I have a Tupperware party on Saturday and no catalogs! I took them to my last recruits house and left them there. We never could get together for me to get them back. Now I've got to figure out what to do!

Gayle, sorry to hear about your uncle.

Glad Stu is feeling better. Poor Cheryl, this has been a rough pregnancy for you so far. Hope you get feeling better soon. How was it with Jake?? Maybe you need to slow down a bit and take time for yourself.
Hello to everyone else out there in Floozie Land.
Dee- our pool is open but so far I have only floated on top it is still too cold for me its about 70 degrees.
Quaker Jack - the mallard duck has a good time in there everyday though. He has come for three years now.

06-18-2009, 10:15 PM
How can I forget to tell you guys I lost another pound this week, 14 so far.

06-19-2009, 01:05 AM

So, Quaker Jack will fly to a warmer climate during the winter months and then fly back to your pool each year? Now, how cool is that! I thought I had something special going on with my zillions of tadpoles in my pond this year! Get a pic of Quaker and post it please. I would love to see him. BTW: Is he fairly tame acting?

{{{HUGS CHERYL}}} Hopefully the sickness will go away soon.

Hello all!

Janice, CONGRATS on the pound!!

I'm starting to feel a little better, still tired as all get out, though. I've been leaving work an hour or so early so I can go home and take a nap before going to pick up Jake. I think that's really helping a lot. I'm lucky to have a job that I can leave early from!

Gayle, sorry to hear about your uncle. I hope everything else in your life is running smoothly. How 'bout your guy at work? Are things any better between you and him?

Hello to Dee, Shelley and Suzi!

Taking my mom out of town today to her cardiologist. SHOULD be back later today unless they decide to admit her to the hospital. I'm thinking it will just be a regular checkup, she seems to be doing as well as can be expected. She celebrated her 83rd birthday yesterday.
Ladies, please pray for my brother. He is having some health issues and is going to the doc to try to figure out what is going on. We are keeping it secret (for now) our mom. He has always been her baby boy and it would not be good for her health right now to worry about him.

Cheryl, I hope your feeling better sweetie!

Dee, are you guys going camping soon?

Janice, you are doing great with the dieting. I know it must be extra hard on you since your job involves food.

I am TRYING to diet, but with LITTLE success, too many trips here and yonder, too many B-day parties, the excuses could go on and on. :-)

Started a new thread!!!

06-22-2009, 09:49 PM
Cheryl - I am lost I can't find the new thread. I will keep looking.
