I keep seeing posts by folks who have a hard time with the Medifast food, so I thought I'd post my little "mini-cookbook" here on this thread.
I know these have all been mentioned before, but it doesn't hurt to remind newbies:
Shakes - use diet soda flavors instead of water.
Puddings - I also use diet soda in place of water. It makes a nice texture and flavor to it. Then I top it off with a dash of DaVinci sugar free syrup.
Soups - Add garlic powder, onion powder, curry powder, butter buds, splenda, etc. etc. to jazz 'em up.
Chili - add chili powder, splenda, black pepper or red pepper a little Molly McButter cheese powder.
Oatmeal - add a pinch of salt, butter buds, splenda, sugar free syrups.
Davinci makes a great peanut butter flavored syrup.
The point is...it's hospital food folks. You have to get a little creative to make it taste even better than it does.
