I keep seeing posts by folks who have a hard time with the Medifast food, so I thought I'd post my little "mini-cookbook" here on this thread.

I know these have all been mentioned before, but it doesn't hurt to remind newbies:

Shakes - use diet soda flavors instead of water.
Puddings - I also use diet soda in place of water. It makes a nice texture and flavor to it. Then I top it off with a dash of DaVinci sugar free syrup.
Soups - Add garlic powder, onion powder, curry powder, butter buds, splenda, etc. etc. to jazz 'em up.
Chili - add chili powder, splenda, black pepper or red pepper a little Molly McButter cheese powder.
Oatmeal - add a pinch of salt, butter buds, splenda, sugar free syrups.

Davinci makes a great peanut butter flavored syrup. :D

The point is...it's hospital food folks. You have to get a little creative to make it taste even better than it does.

What kind of diet soda do you mix with the shakes?

I love the diet soda with the shakes. You can use any diet flavor you like.Rootbeer with vanilla is great, orange with the orange shake. Also in the vanilla or Choc. sometimes I have added a spoonfull of caffeine free instant coffee with a little hazelnut davinci syrup. The syrups really help.I am open to any ideas.
