From a calorie standpoint it puts you tracking nicely for the day so far. From a what you consumed standpoint, I would be starving! I tend to do high protein in the mornings, mid morning snack, lower calorie lunch, afternoon snack, dinner, evening snack. All of those I try to put in as much protein as I can. Keeps me from feeling munchy and snacking later in the day. How are you feeling?

Normally I am starving but I wasn't feeling good last night. I'm concerned that the foods I eat are too fattening even though I don't over eat. I think maybe since I had a starch for lunch (rice) I won't have one for dinner.

I think it all depends on how you feel. I love the burrito bowls. I usually have them add extra lettuce. I do best if I stick to whole foods. I would have chosen steel cut oats or something with more protein rather than a bagel. I make the oats ahead of time if I'm in a crunch in the morning.

I've also been really into fage yogurt. I add high fiber cereal and frozen fruit. It is so good.

Try a lot of veggies and protein for dinner.

I try to keep myself at 30% protein, 30% fat, 40% carbs, though sometimes I go high on the carbs and low on the other. Sometimes i feel like I don't get enough fat either, then I overcompensate with bad fat like I have the last few days.

Oatmeal was always a satisfying breakfast for me when I was being more strict with calories, but didn't keep me full for long. I love it, though, so I ate it fairly often. Now I do frozen fruit smoothies with protein powder that I throw in the car and take to work with me. Fage with something like Kashi go lean and some fruit is really good, like Wendy said. String cheese, small amounts of peanut butter, small quantities or nuts, that kind of thing. And, some fat is good - cutting it all out or cutting it too low isn't a good thing.
