Default Up my calories? Water? Need answers!

Hi ladies!
I have recently increased my exercise. My body seems to be reacting well but I feel pretty weak for about 2 hours after I work out. I was on WW but due to finances, am switching over to calorie counting. I know Im pretty short but I have no idea if I should stick to 1200 or move up to 1500?

Also, I drink at least 2 liters of water a day. However, all this water is while im at work. Should I spread that out through out the rest of the day?

Thanks for all your help!

Calorie cycling works best for me. I'd try between 1200-1500 (more calories on workout days VERSES non-workout days). Have a pre or post workout snack that's protein packed and I'd spread the water out during the day.

Also eating more protein in general should help you stay full, longer.

Do you eat after you work out or before?! I recommend eating at least an hour before you work out, and not working out until exhaustion because that is not healthy hon!

Thanks Worm...Im going to try that! I do notice that some days its easy for me to stay at 1200 and others im completely ravenous and have to eat somemore!

Iamacrayon- I usually eat after my workout. I have lunch around 12 or 1. and usually workout around 545. I sometimes have a small glass of milk.

Thanks for all of your suggestions.

Yah, I would try having a little protein snack before you go work out. Maybe try Mini Babybel's Light cheese (it comes in a red wax and says light on it). Or try a handful of almonds. After work outs, make sure you feed your body more protein post workout (ideally whey protein shakes).

I would also recommend spreading water over the day; as too much water at one time can be harmful for the body. So spreading out throughout the day - your body will be constantly replenished.

I am also short and I guesstimate that I eat around 1200 a day.
