Smile New here...sort of, not really.
Hey guys....long time, no see. I don't know if any of you remember me.

My name is Amanda and I've been a long time off the bandwagon. Lost a lot of weight and then gained it all back...but I'm back to try it again. I remembered that this was a great support group the last time I lost a bunch of weight and I'm still on my goal to join the Air Force.

My current plan is walking with the hubby around my neighborhood 3-4 times per week, anywhere from 30-45 min up and down hills depending on how I'm feeling that day. He's very successful at dragging me out of the apartment even when I'm kicking and screaming I don't want to go lol. My eating habits are a little better than about a month ago...eating less and eating healthier. I'm very much a compulsive overeater and it's a struggle not to give in.

I remember you as well. Glad you've returned!

I too am/was/am a compulsive overeater. Which is why I had to set up some rules for myself to follow and incorporate a new set of habits to keep my overeating in check. It was the only way for me to seize control. Though I will always have food "issues", these rules and habits are now second nature to me and put the brakes on my eating (most of the time anyway) and have allowed me to lose the weight and keep it off.
