I have done 2 days so far, but I have taken one day off in between. I have a feeling it's a lot easier if you do it every day though (except obviously after the first day since you are so sore afterwards!) I can also see myself losing momentum if it takes 2 months versus one month.

I personally found my chest was sooooo sore the next day. Not so much my legs or arms put my chest muscles were so sore, I have never experienced that before!

Yesterday was my second day and I thought I couldn't handle it, but it wasn't as bad as I thought! Give it a try My muscles do hurt a LOT today but I'm still pressing on, I can feel it working already!

If you will stay with it, I promise it gets much easier really fast.

Phew, just done level 1 day 3 and it was slightly easier! Though during the workout I still felt I was working hard, my recovery time seems better?? I'm not sure if that is my imagination though

I am so pleased with myself for doing it three days in a row, I don't think I have ever exercised 3 days in a row in my life! lol

It's the 30 Day Shred workout by Jillian Michaels 30DS is just a quicker way of saying it.

This is off topic, but I just noticed that you are getting married the same day as my baby's first birthday. Congratulations!

Okay, about 30DS...Level one, I had taken a few days off after about 5 days because I got really sick and just couldn't really do anything. Since then, I have been doing it every single day and am almost halfway though level 2. Level 2 does a LOT of plank related things like walking push-ups(I think they are called that, I can't hear the audio because of my noisy boys). I just start it and push myself though it, before I know it I'm doing the cool down stretches...such a relief!! I do pause the video for a few seconds maybe 3 times during the workout because I need water! Anyway, stick with it, it does get a bit easier. I am seeing major changes so I'm very happy with it. Good luck!

Oh, BTW, I started with 5 lb weights and found that 3 lb weight just work out a lot better for me. I don't know what you are using, but it does make a huge difference!

At the first week, you are sore afterwards, but if you do it every day, you will feel that it's a lot easier.

I was told (here) that you aren't supposed to do it every day? I'm confused. I don't us it so I guess it doesn't matter.

My take on this is that because its basically strength training you need to let your muscles rest a day so I do it twice a week or every other day. The days I don't do 3DS its my usual cardio routine or some yoga/pilates.

everyday vs 4 -5 times a week is arguable.

its only like 25 minutes so technically you could do it everyday and yr muscles would be fine. you would also see yr body change dramatically very quickly. most ppl do it ten days per level for a total of 30 days shred.

i have heard jillian say its okay to do it either way on her radio show. 4-5x's a week or daily. its up to you.

Personally I think it's fine to do everyday. It's a circuit so it's not simply 20 minutes of pure strength, and as Jillian says in the video the more stress you put on your body the quicker it will adapt and change. Essentially you are only doing 9 minutes of strength work so it's not going to do you any damage to do that daily.
