Default Made it through the wilderness!

In the past, I have never survived long on a diet. Lack of progress, even for a short while, was enough stress to break me. I get frustrated, I take it out on food, I binge, and before I know it I'm up 20 lbs. So when I stalled out on my third week on this diet, and even gained back 5 lbs, I was very worried.

But, thanks to patience and Three Fat Chicks, I got through the stall without going crazy. I had some slipups, sure, might've reached for fast food once or twice, but not enough to make me gain weight.

To be honest, it was reading this site that helped me through it. I saw how most people here had gone through the same thing, and it encouraged me. Every time pizza and burgers came up on my brain, I popped my browser over here, read a little, and reminded myself to be patient.

The stall is now behind me, and I'm down 3 lbs, to 267. Thank you everyone! Three Fat Chicks rocks!

Actually there will be hard parts when you don't expect them, but you know what to do. This site ROCKS.

Jo – I read your thread title and now I can’t get that Madonna, Like a Virgin, out of my head….”I made it through the wilderness, you know I made it through…….didn’t know how lost I was until I found you…….”

I totally hear ya lady! I am ALMOST past my 30 lb hump. I’ve never made it to 40. I have felt myself wavering lately & made a decision to spend a TON of time on this website this week to get me through…….

“didn’t know how lost I was until I found you…………”

Somebody stop me!

YESSSSSSSSSS!

3FC once again defeats the insidious forces of evil that lurk inside every noxious pound of fat, promotes the many benefits of healthy living and destroys the One Ring!

Hooray for our hero, Jo Kittibuck!

CUE TRIUMPHANT MUSIC! (a little long with some mild grossness)
