I pay 35 bucks a month for mine....it's smaller than some, but it works, and open 24/7 BornToFly 03-30-2009, 10:46 PM I am off to the gym for the first time today also! Good luck. good luck joy! I always always always feel so much better after being at the gym. hpnodat 03-30-2009, 10:59 PM I pay $60 a month for mine but its not an average gym. It's a medically based and health oriented facility. With my membership fee I get to meet with a trainer once a week or more if needed and I also get to meet with a nutritionist once a week as well. There is an on site spa and physical therapy. Since it is medically based it is not uncommon to see cardiac rehab patients, Stroke rehab, and general muscular skeletal rehab as well. I love it because there aren't a bunch of burly body builders around, just people that are trying to better themselves. They have tons of classes including pilates, yoga and aqua classes that are included in the membership. I'm very happy with what I have. irishsarah 03-30-2009, 11:04 PM It sounds like a great gym! I am glad you had such a good experiance your first time there! I went back for the first time in over a week today...I think I over did it. LOL! Devsmama 03-30-2009, 11:08 PM My gym is pretty awesome. I pay $49/month for me and my son. It has 2 indoor pools, I full length indoor basketball court and indoor soccer field, a rockclimbing wall, all sorts of classes, weights for adults and weight machines for teens, a boxing ring with a heavy bag and a speed bag and they just added some interactive games. They also have too many other things to name. It's really nice. crazycurls 03-30-2009, 11:12 PM This one is $30/month. It's really small but not very crowded. It's a women's only gym which is very nice and they have a personal trainer there as well. midwife 03-31-2009, 12:22 AM :bravo: Buttercup 03-31-2009, 01:24 AM :woops:Way to go! I joined the Y and they have a "Commit to be Fit" program, and I went in my dream last night. I wonder if that burned any calories? vBulletin® v3.6.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
