Default Victory from the jaws of defeat

Due to lack of concentration, I found myself with just 275 cals left for my evening meal.
I had planned a big stir-fry, with a sweet sauce on egg noodles. Noodles too high, so X them. Brown rice? Nah. Stir-fry without the sauce? Nope, stir-fries aren't my strong point and without some sauce on them they just taste burned.
Go over your calorie budget! a voice kept yelling at me. And I guess I could have and no harm done, given 3 low-calorie food-poisoning days this week - but it would have been the first time I'd deliberately gone OP, and the start of a slippery mental slope, I know my head.

So in the end: a giant leaf and beansprout salad with cottage cheese, lite mayo and even 1/2oz cheddar. oh and a couple of dill pickles. I am SO stuffed, for 252 calories and smug smuggitty smug smug, smug smug.

This is what I love about this site: I can celebrate tiny victories without people holding it against me/remembering it for evermore (issues with weightloss + family/friends). I'm always glad if people reply but it doesn't matter if they don't. Love this site.

That's terrific! Way to stick to your guns and resist temptation. Kudos on being under on calories, too.
