WOW Nor 25 minutes, you must have some leg muscles :strong:
Now this is the first time I've exercised in over 2 years due to my back.
I did 5 minutes forward on the eliptical and 2 minutes backwards...I know its not much but its a start, I can't overdo it cause I'll be hurtin like a you know what !! Every little bit helps.
Love, Leens :dizzy:

Thursday: 30 minutes on the exercise bike. Been riding at -0- resistance, but doctor said to kick up intensity, so I'm trying to do the L1 Hill setting. What I've managed to do is ride at 0 the switch to L1 for about 3 minutes at a time, then back down to 0. Its going to take me a while to get the intensity up to where the doc wants it, but I'll get there.
Later I went to the 50+Circuit Water aerobic class. This is a class that incorporates "tools" to increase intensity of water workouts to "mimic" effects of doing the circuit machines. It's a pretty tough class, but I love it.

actually, i did 30 minutes with raul this morning. the first time in two weeks, since the bronchitis really wore me out [i can't wait until it stops!!!! it got me into so much trouble and apparently my lungs are still weak enough that i'm susceptible!!!]
and then i stopped in at an olympus gym, the one i pass every single morning on the way to work.
and the trainer there was adorable!!! he's about 30, and comes up to my shoulder, andhas the most sparkly blue eyes.
and he promised he wouldn't let me hurt myself
and why am i posting this HERE, with all you SWEATING, HARDWORKING LADIES, when it really belongs on the daily???
never mind...
i'm considering joining this place. it's clean. doesn't smell like sweatsocks. the ladies room is sparse, but very clean
no pool, though.
i want to check out a couple of other places, though.

That's what I've been. I was in the middle of my 30 minute bike ride and was interrupted by the phone, then it was too late to finnish. Had importiant doc appt for DH Friday and didn't have time to go to the club.
Sat's and Sunday's are my "days of rest"

Tonight I took my tape player, my Aquajazz tape and my foam barbells down to my son's pool and did a full hour of water aerobics. I'm proud of myself because I don't usually exercise on the weekend.
Do you think that will help make up for the german chocolate cake & vanillia ice cream I had at lunch?

Olny 15 minutes on the bike today, but the water aerobics was a "step" class so in my book, that counts double!!!

Boy was I motivated today. I got up early and went to a 9:00 walking class at the club. I managed to walk the track 3 times before we started doing the circiut machines. Wow I know I'll be sore tomorrow, but it felt good, Haven't done weight machines for a long time. Anyway this class meets 9:00 MWF and I plan to try to go as often as I can. Then I did the 10:00 water aerobics after that, so two hours of good workout for me today.
