Pototoes and cabbage mashed together - yum... nelie 03-17-2009, 03:38 PM You could try making corned seitan. I made it once and its pretty easy to make. Here are 2 recipes: http://www.vegsource.com/articles2/bryanna_st_patrick_print.htm http://everydaydish.tv/index.php?page=recipe&recipe=98 rdw1 03-17-2009, 11:41 PM Thanks Nelie- I will have to try those sometime. I always wanted to try to make my own seitan, but haven't done it yet! We ended up taking a half a quorn roast cooking in some pepproncinis with juice, some dill, mustard, florida pepper seasoning, celery salt, and whatever else sounded good! we put it on marble rye with kraut and swiss grilled to perfection! some tomato and spicy mustard finished it off! the sandwiches were so large it was all I could eat! Salad for tomorrow night for sure! vBulletin® v3.6.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
