Age 50+ - Officially Started Today

I am not yet one of the 50's, but it's very close!
Today I am starting my diet.
Today I am starting to take lessons on my horse that I bought over a year ago.
I don't know which I am more excited about, riding my horse, or looking good on him eventually.

I enjoyed the lesson so much. I know I want to carry on riding, and this has made me more adament than ever to loose this extra weight I am carrying around with me. It will benefit me and my horse.
I have a few stiff and sore muscles where I didn't even know I had muscles! It is so worth it.
