Hi everyone! I'm realizing that I'm definitely not getting enough water in my diet and I do notice a difference in how I feel when I have a particularly hydrated day. So my question is to you, how much water do you try to drink everyday? Or is it more of just drinking as much as possible whenever you remember to?
well, after watching Food Network the other day, Food Detectives did a show where they questioned whether you actually needed the 8 glasses a day thing, and it was pretty cool. They took four different diets, and dehydrted them to find out how much water you get from your food. Pretty much, you get two glasses of water a day just from your food!
But, I try to get in as much as I can. My trainer said to find an amount and stick to it. I try to drink about 70-ish ounces of water a day, but since you're a bit smaller than me, i think you'd be in the 60-ish range.
Not enough! I carry around this hot pink 20 oz. water bottle with me, I like it But... that doesn't make me drink water from it any more hah.
When I work out I drink at least 20 oz. of water from my water bottle.... but other than that.... I maybe drink one of them a day? I need to drink more. Crystal light has been good lately though, helps me get more water.
I have been told that on the days I work out I should drink half my body weight in oz- which is 90oz
Usually I shoot for 80-90oz. I have noticed a tremenous difference in my skin and my body- I'm glowy and my face looks fresher. I feel healthier too. And I hardley drink soda anymore because I have too many ozs of water to drink to waste my liquids on soda
yeah I notice a change in my skin too! Its a nice side effect. I used to drink diet soda alllll dayyyyy long too, but I've had a stall in my weight loss recently and am thinking that may have contributed, but regardless of that, its just a bunch of chemicals I don't need.
I have been drinking a lot more lately. I counted yesterday that I drank about 150 oz. But usually I try to keep it some where around 100 oz. I just feel better and my skin looks a lot better when I drink a lot.
geez, I thought I was drinking a far share of water until i read this thread! lol. I usually drink about 55oz of water a day, but now I know that I need to drink way more then that.
I only drink when I'm thirsty lol. Maybe 2-4 cups of water a day plus 1 cup of milk. I think all the fresh fruit and veggies I'm eating more than makes up for the rest of the water I need!
