Default Garlic-y breath without eating garlic?

Like the subject line says, for the last few nights, I've had sort of a garlic-y taste in my mouth at night (usually after having had a bottle of water or Crystal Light, or something like that) without having eaten any garlic that day. I brush my teeth and use mouthwash religiously, so it's not a "bad breath" in general thing, but this is driving me nuts!

Any ideas as to why this is happening? Or even what's going on?

If it matters, I'm counting calories. Could this have to do with the types of food I'm eating, maybe?
