hello all. I am back at ww again and this time it is really working. My problem is I work nights so on my night off I try to keep my same sleep schedule and am alone downstairs just me and the fridge for hours on hand. I do try to exercise but surfing the web or watching tv just screams have snacks. Anyone have any good tips for avoiding the fridge:)

Find something to keep your hands busy while watching TV, like knitting or crafting of some kind. If your mind is wandering enough to want to go get boredom snacks, then you are not truly engaged in what you are doing (web surfing or TV watching) and you might want to look at what other activities you can pursue. Read a good book, pick up a hobby. Otherwise, find a bunch of low-point snacks you can have on hand when you just can't stop yourself from snacking - air popped popcorn, fruit, low fat dairy...

I agree with above post eat the healthy snacks. Sugarfree jello is good w/1tbsp ff coolwhip is 0 points. Or I like hummus 1tbsp 1 point with 17 specialk crackers 2 points.

Avoiding the fridge is hard for me sometimes too. I just try to keep as busy as I can when I'm feeling like I want to take a peek inside. Cleaning the house works as well as running errands, but I don't know what you'll be able to do at night.
