Default Substitute for Teriyaki

I know that Teriyaki sauce is a no non. I have a recipe that calls for teriyaki. . .does anyone have any suggestions for something that I can use that won't change the flavor significantly.

Thank you!

I had the same problem awhile back and found this link to make your own teriyaki. It looks a little weird, but is quite tasty!
