Hi Ladies:)

Moving this morning post over here:

I'm feeling 100% this morning and don't need to go to the doctors. One of my friend told me that she had the same problem and her doctor told her its part of old age.

Got on the scale this morning and I still the same,3 lbs gone.Happy:) about that.

PAULA-The weather on the Cape is getting there, the sun was shining:sunny: and the temps were up to the 50's. in some spots.

COCO-I'm fine again, don't know what happened last week, but what ever it was a spell :stir: was a :?:puzzle to me.

RHONDA-So sorry:sorry: about Jake,Its always something we're never prepared for.

PAM-HI:wave: have a great day

Thanks everyone for the kind words about Jake. Today he looks like he's never been sick a day in his life.

Glad you're feeling better Maryann, and Vicki I'm glad your headache is gone.

I finally did it! I :exercise: !!! I'm taking my portable DVD player and some exercise DVDs to Florida with me and see if I can break through my lethargy. I'm going to the Florida Hotel and Conference Center and they have a gym of course. So, maybe I'll get on the treadmill also. I'll need to do something to counteract all the sitting.

Rhonda, you're a focused chickie. When do you leave for Florida? How long will you be there? Will you have puter access?

Maryann, congratulations on being down 3 lbs.

It's looked like spring here today. I have gotten a lot done around the place inside and out. Now I'm just "chillin."

Good Morning Ladies:)

I have a spare mins to post as I going to bake a spaghetti pie and it time consuming. I got it from an old WW pasta cookbook.,but instead of putting it in a reg sized pie pan I'm going to use the mini ones instead so I can portion control them.

RHONDA-Thanks, hope & pray the pain of Jakes's illness won't bring you into any long term stress,as I know how much he means to you.Have a safe trip and we'll see when you get back.

SANDRA-I still can't believe the scale move that much. Hope to see more results in the future.

It is raining today. But I guess at least it isnt snow.
VICKIE CONGRATS :carrot: On the loss. That is awesome. Proud of you girl.

ONTARGET Are you in line for the storms they are calling for. Seen where there is suppose to be some bad storms in Texas. Hope they miss you.

BEACHBUM Congrat :carrot: On your loss. That is wonderful. Your supper does sound good. I forgot to ask my leader last night about the point thing. But I am going to get ahold of her and find out. I knew there was something I wanted to ask her last night. But I forgot. Sorry. Will let you know as soon as I hear anything.

TEJAS Hope Jake is doing better. Have a safe trip. Will miss you.

PAM920 and BLESSEDWITHSARAH HI to both. Hope you are doing ok.

Well I maintained last night. So will take it. Just wanted the scales to go down. But maybe next week.
Oh I just tried a portabella mushroom burger. It was really good. I put it on Arnold's Whole Wheat sandwich thin. It was good. Made a great sandwich. Know it wouldnt be core. But it only comes out to 3 points.
Well I am going to get off here. Need to get a few things done.
Will be back later.
Have a great day everyone.

Hi everyone! Its a nice day here -- sunny and over 32, so more snow is melting. We are supposed to get rain tomorrow night, I hope its enough to clean off my car and wash away all the dirt on the roads. Everything just looks dirty everywhere. I had a Drs appt this morning then went grocery shopping. When I came home my cleaning lady was here so I went for a walk then to get a pedicure. I finally have pretty toes again! Now I'm just watching TV and waiting until dd comes home. I'm taking the girls to dance tonight - usually on Wed nights but tonight is a make up class from last week. It was cancelled due to snow. I'm looking forward to taking them, as I don't normally get to watch them.

I did have a WONDERFUL 2 point BLT for lunch. Used turkey bacon and an anolds thin sandwich roll. It was very yummy. Then tonights dinner will be chicken catcciatore that I'll make in my pressure cooker. To quote Sandra, life is good!

Vickie -- congrats on the 2.2! I'm so happy you have found something you can follow that is working for you.

Maryann -- congrats on your loss as well!

Rhonda -- gald Jake is doing better. Who knows, he may surprise you.

Well, going to log in my lunch. BBL

Coco, just saw a weather report. Yep, the storm is moving toward us. It's called a "super cell." Now that's scarey. We're glued to the television now watching for reports. So far, it's looking like most of the activity should be west of here. (They're talking baseball size hail.)

Rhonda, have a fun, safe trip.

Vickie, congratulations on losing this week. I am so happy for you and inspired by you.

Maryann, believe it, girl. You've worked hard for it. Is the spaghetti pie recipe you have the same one that's Core?

Paula, what a wonderful day you're having! You're right. Life is wonderfully good.

I guess I'll do some training this afternoon while watching the weather. We have our car loaded with overnight stuff just in case but we're really not expecting things to be too bad here.

Evening Everyone
Well it is still raining. Hope it dont start to flood.
Guess we are going to be in a wind advisory tomorrow afternoon. And some storms coming our way. Hope it dont get too bad. Hubby has a DR's appt in the morning. So hope we get home before the storms. The girls (doggies) are afraid of them. Especially the one. I got me a couple of new oil lamps yesterday. So maybe I will have to use them. But hope not.

ONTARGET Hope you are ok. Thinking of you.

BLESSEDWITHSARAH I had the Arnolds Whole Wheat Sandwich thin today. This is the first time I have tried them. I thought they were pretty good. I put the portabella mushroom burger on it. Hope you had a good time at dance class tonight.

VICKIE how are you doing. I saw yesterday. At the Big Lots we have here. Some of the Nutrisystem food. Some soup and some envolpes of stuff. But didnt get any. Didnt know if I would like it or not. hope you are having some good weather.

BEACHBUM how did your pie turn out. Hope it was good. Have a great evening.

Well I am going to get off here for now.

Good Morning Chicks! I just wanted to stop by on the fly to say good morning. I got up early to walk on the treadmill before eating breakfast and going to our refinancing closing this morning.

Good Morning Ladies:)

Looks like we are going to have a beautiful sunny day. The temps are up in the 40's. But I think to too windy & cold to walk along the beach.

VICKIE-Leo & I have out dinner at noon, the spaghetti pie was was only 30 mins to bake ,but the preparation was what took so long. Glad that you got your treadmill walking done so early. I have been exercising right after supper at 6PM where I watch a movie while using my stationery bike. Too cold in the basement to go down to walk on my treadmill.

COCO-Thanks for the congrats, the dinner was delish,only[6pts]I made two mini pies instead of on reg size. This way I have another meal next week. Maintaining is good, its get back when it comes a stall. You should have a lose next week, bod need time to recup.

Hope your power doesn't go out with those storms.TANKS so much for asking your leader now I will be able to have some idea of the calories I taking in. I was using the 60cal per point, now I can go back to the 50 cal point system.

PAULA-We're so happy to see our snow melt also.Hope it stays that way,but February is a snow month. Thanks for the congrats.

SANDRA-Thanks,I'm just trying to figure out whats type of meals & exercises will get the scale going downward. The spaghetti pie is from a old WW cookbook. The ingredients look like it could be made into a core recipe.

crust-ww spaghetti,egg sub,marg,parm & parley
filling-peppers,scallions,tomato sauce basil,salt , pepper, mozz
ground lean meat & EVOO

If you want the recipe I post it later.

Hi Everyone
DOCTORS!!!! Why cant they all agree on something. Hubby had a Dr's appt today. Was a check-up. Well his general Dr put him on neurontin for his feet. He has alot of pain in them. Said this would help. But so far it hasnt. Well the DR he went to today said to stop the neurontin. Hubby has been having some trouble. He seems confussed more. Like you are talking to him about something. And its like he dont understand. Or if we are driving in town. He gets confussed about the lanes and driving on the interstate. I dont even ask him to help me read the signs anymore. Anyway this Dr said the neurontin could be causing this. So he is to stop it. So we will see. It just makes it hard to know what to do. Other wise he is good.
Well so far no storms. Guess now they are calling for them later tonight. The wind is starting to blow some. But not bad. Guess later on that is suppose to pick up. So keeping our fingers crossed that it passes over us.

VICKIE Congrats on getting up early and doing your exercise. Guess that is what I will have to do. I get up at 4:00 am to get awake before I get son up at 5:00. So guess I could do something then.

BEACHBUM Congrats for riding the bike. I am sure you find what point range works for you. Sometimes I need less points than what I am suppose to have. Especially if I dont exercise.

ONTARGET Glad you are safe.

Well I am going to get off here for now.
Will be back later.
Have a wonderful day everyone. Enjoy the nice weather before it gets cold again.

Hi Everyone
Just a quick stop in. Some storms as suppose to be heading our way. So wanted to get on here. So I can get the computer turned off before the storms come. Guess we are to get some pretty high winds. Said they could be up to 58 miles per hour. Hope not. Said we are in a high wind warning. And then some watch until 7:00 pm tomorrow night. So got candles and flashlights and oil lamps ready.

ONTARGET sounds like you had a nice day. How exciting getting new clothes. I hope by stopping the meds that helps hubby.

Well I am going to get off here.
Hope everyone is doing ok. Thinking of everyone.

Hi:

It's easier to get on to 3FC than I thought it would be. I have my laptop and I must have set it up before because I got right on.

The first day of the conference has been good. I don't know anyone so it's a bit lonely. Of course people are chatting together but the organizers could do a slightly better job of introducing first attendees to one another.

Anyway, I have been in the fitness room and rode the :ebike: for 30 minutes and the :tread: for 15 minutes. I came back to my room and did about 15 minutes of one of my :exercise: DVDs. I can and will do more. I've been watching the food intake also, writing down everything I eat. I'm going to break this!

DH has a nephew living not far from here so I'll likely see them on the weekend. But, his wife is now sick so I'm not sure what's going to happen. If I can't see them, I'm paying the extra fee and going home early.

Sandra, I was watching that storm system on TV. I'm glad you weren't in it.

Coco, here's hoping that stopping the medication will help your DH. It's important that all the doctors know ALL of the medication that your DH is on also. Sometimes there are negative interactions among drugs.

Vickie, good for you and getting more exercise.

Night all,
Rhonda

Sounds like everyone is trucking along with the goals...

I gained a few pounds but have lost them over the last few weeks.
I am back to doing mostly Core with some meals where I calorie count instead. Hubby is doing Atkins so we grill a lot and have salads.

I am at 141 and would love to make 130 by spring.

I have been walking and doing a few exercises most days.

Vickie

Good Morning Chicks!! I'm up kinda early because I couldn't sleep any more. The joys of middle age.

I've got a boring day planned after all my running yesterday. I will get to enjoy my one weekly meal out tonight. I always look forward to that.

Mary Ann, if one is going to have a large meal, I think it's a great idea to have it midday. Of course, on JC NO meal is big!

Coco, Neurontin was the medicine that the Smell Disorder Doctor wanted me to take to get rid of the smokey smell. I decided not to take it since it was an "off-label" application for me. The side effects sounded scary to me. I hope your DH starts feeling better soon. Being confused, especially while driving is scary. I'm not saying the exercise is easy that early, but I will say that it's over before I fully wake up and realize what I'm doing!:D Did you get the storms last night?

Sandra, shopping is not fun to me right now. I'm glad you found some cute tops. Where are you going? My stretchy clothes were all getting tight. So, I'm looking forward to them fitting properly and eventually getting loose. I'm hoping that I don't have to buy new clothes until summer.

Rhonda, yay! Isn't the world so cool now? It's neat that you got to have access to us while you're away. And....it's great that you are away and can focus on yourself by having the time to do some exercise. You'll probably come back with a great loss. Too bad about the conference. If you are feeling this way than others probably are too. Treasury used to drive me nuts at conferences because they did SO many icebreakers.....and I'm an extrovert. I used to say enough already!

Nancy, good for you. It sounds like you're in a zone. Keep up the good work.

Off to treadmill!

Good Morning Ladies:)

Got my migraine back again yesterday, but now its gone & so is my doctor until Next Tuesday. My option is to go to the ER if its an emergency.

Its just doesn't end,Where do migraines come from.????I thought the show up during pregnancy & menopause. Guess I was wrong.YESTERDAY I FELL OFF PROGRAM,AND ATE EVERYTHING IN SITE.

COCO-Thanks I love riding it as I watch a movie for 1/2 hr on my computer.and for you asking your leader about the points,I really appreciate all the help.Going back to the 50 cal per point & decided to go on a lower point range than I did before. My new range for next week is 22-31[1100-1500] a more or less calorie shift[Wendie type plan]

RHONDA-Congrats on all the exercising your done yesterday. Glad that you can get to visit us via lap top while your gone.

NANCY-Hi, it good to see you posting again.I'm using core foods but counting calories. You'll get down to the 130's by Spring. I aiming to get out of the 160's by Spring than I'll be happy. Didn't like the Atkins plan as I love grain carbs.

VICKIE-We started to eat that way[dinner at noon] since last Sept and we both found we had less heartburn that way. But of course our weight has come down,as Leo & I eat light in the evening. Maybe we are not eating enough and we're in a starvation made. Have to ask the doctor.

Have to start dinner, having Chicken with fruit salsa and some veggies on the side.

Rhonda, I'm sorry you're not enjoying your trip. I'd go home early, too, if I were you. Colleyville took a big hit in the storm but nothing like Oklahoma. We actually came through it easily. Folks between us and 35 didn't even get rain.

Vickie, we're leaving for Austin in the morning for the TSAA State Indoor Championship at the University of Texas. We travel to tournaments 3 more times over the next 4 weeks. Two of the tournaments have banquets so I was in extreme need of clothes. I understand your not wanting to buy clothes. I wouldn't have if it hadn't been necessary.

Maryann, ouch! I have never had a migraine but I sympathize with you. I fell off the wagon today, too, but I planned it. A gf and I went out to eat and to the movies. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Hi everyone. Its been a few days since I've had a chance to post. Doing well OP but I wasn't able to wi yesterday -- too much going on at work. The one downfall of doing ww at work, sometimes I just can't get away. Oh well. There is always next week. I think I would have been the same or a small loss. I'm just going to keep sticking to plan. I know it works when I am honest in following it.

Rhonda, glad you made it to FL OK.

Vickie, congrats on exercising! Its so easy to skip days. Keep it up!

Maryann, I used to get migranes often. I realized it was mostly due to stress. I still periodically get them when things pile up on me. I always had great luck with ibupropen (motrin). When I feel the headache coming (usually I get the funky vision), if I take 4 pills, the headache never got into full swing. Maybe that would help.

Hi Pam, Nancy and Coco!

OH -- guess what! After 2 months of snow pack on the ground, its finally melted enough that DH and DD took down the Christmas decorations. They even unburried Santa from the front lawn (a blow up one that disappeared a while ago). The great thing -- my snowdrops, crocuses and daffodils are all sprouting! I'm amazed that they are up so fast -- 2 days ago they were still burried.

Well got to run. Have a good night.

Good Morning Chicks! I'm off to the gambling boat this morning for a little R & R. It's our gift to our selves for finishing one month on our respective programs. Jim is down almost 15 and I'm down 9. We'll be going to the free buffet for lunch today. I'm confident that I can eat the salad and fresh fruit and leave the rest of the stuff alone. They always have a nice protein (turkey breast or whole ham) that they will slice to go with my salad and fruit. Some day, I'll be able to splurge there once in a while but not yet!

Hope you all have a great day. I'll walk on the treadmill when I get home. I'll also be making a new batch of veggie soup. We are bracing for 4 or 5 inches of snow from tonight through tomorrow morning. Oh well.....it is February. It was nice that all the old snow melted though!

I'll see you all later.

Good Morning Ladies:)

Had some problems with the computer:comp: this morning,it wouldn't go on for a reason,Now that's it up I have to rush this post as we're going out to the:fr: tax man:fr: and being Friday the 13th is has to be a frightful situation.

My migraine is gone this morning, but I made a appointment to the doctor for a check up anyway. My DD called, and told me The funnies thing, she had migraines the same time that I did,but we didn't know about each other until her phone call. Her MIL said it might be sinuses as the weather was going up & than down in temp. Leo now that he has the weather station told me its a possibility as the barometer pressure was down causing the headaches.

SANDRA-Thanks:thanks: for your sympathy. She also mentioned that she fell off the wagon also,by eating everything in sight. So these headache bring on nausea and over eating.Hope that I don't see anything I don't want to see at W-I this Monday. G;lad you had a great time at dinner & movies.

PAULA-I have no reason to stress:stress: out Leo is cancer free .I think it has to do with sinus or something like that. My DD had the same headaches like I did.Took Alieve and it helped a little so that the reason I'm going to be check out just in case its some more serious.

VICKIE-Congrats:congrat: to you & your DH for the great weight loss.Have a wonderful time at buffet dinner. Continue,to do what your doing as it working for you.

Vickie, enjoy your reward. Great weight loss!

About migranes: I used to have them also but as soon as I entered peri-menopause, they went away. I know how awful they can be: good luck.

My conference is over and I'm headed to the sunshine by the hotel pool. I forgot to bring sunglasses and sunblock!!! So, first I'll go get some of those.

Tomorrow, I'm going to spend the day with DH's nephew and his family in Cocoa Beach. That should be fun.

I'm doing well with not eating too much. There are great fruit drinks here and they're low calorie, if not Core. I didn't exercise yesterday, but I will today.

Coco, that's terrible about the elderly lady. But, it's so sweet that people are helping her.

I'm not going home early. I'd have to try standby or pay an extra $300. I don't want to do either, especially since standby would put me at the airport 8 hours before I have to be there. Oh well, I'll just have to have more pool time

Thanks for the kudos, Sloan! I bet your an awesome teacher.

We had great fun, Coco. I lost but had fun anyway. It was nice to have a non-eating reward. I'm going to have to think up some more of those.

Pam you sound like you have a great plan for today. Good luck, enjoy your sliver of cake and your meal tomorrow.

Mary Ann, I hope your computer woes are over and that the tax man didn't add any woes for you! I worked for THE tax man for 30 years. He can be tough.

Jim and I have no special plans for today. I'm making WW veggie soup later and we may be taking the pup to the Vet. She's got a growth on her back that is growing and I'm a bit concerned. Other than that, we'll just be on program and exercising. I hope you're all well and on program.

DRINK YOUR WATER!!!!!!!

Hi:

I hope you all had a good :val3: day. I really enjoyed my time with DH's nephew, his wife and their two girls (6 and 8). We went to a nature preserve and saw alligators, of course!

I've got 7 hours to do something with before my plane leaves. Here I am in a huge hotel attached to a gigantic mall, and I HATE shopping! You'd never know that there is a recession on: the mall is full. I wonder if people are spending money or just wandering around?

I didn't exercise yesterday, but today I am doing some mall walking and not just sitting around. I'm going to do my best to keep up with the :exercise: because it does help all kinds of things.

Talk to all tomorrow: have a great OP day.

Rhonda

Hi Everyone
Well much happening here.
Went to church. And out to eat. You know I get tried of going out to eat. But son wants to take us out. Says he works all week. He wants to eat out. Tell him to go by himself. But says no. He wants us to go. I guess that is nice that he wants to spend time with us. One of these days he wont. So guess I should just enjoy it.

TEJAS Glad you had a good time yesterday. Have a safe trip home.

Might go and see a friend that is in from out of state. She was in church. She is staying at her Mom's. But she was getting a migrine. So will depend on how she is feeling weather we go or not.
Been having some snow flurries off and on today. But nothing on the ground. And it is a cool 33 degrees.
Well I am going to get off here for now.
Hope everyone is having a great day.
Thinking of each of you.
