20-Somethings - Not exactly a 20-some. Almost, though.

Just wondering if there are any late-teens out there?

I joined this site because I wanted to focus on my health, not getting a size-smaller prom dress. Not getting the boy in my chem class to notice me. Not so I can make the cheering squad. Almost all of the weight-loss forums that focus on teens still portray a fairly unhealthy lifestyle, with very low self-esteem. It kills me.

I grew up big, and my determination always comes in little spurts that do absolutely nothing. So now I'm going to stick to it. :]

That's an awesome attitude, especially to have so early in life! Healthy habits take a long time to learn, so kudos for you for coming back to the healthy lifestyle approach. There's not a late-teen forum, but there have been others your age in the 20-something forum: you're very welcome to join us here!!! :)

Welcome! We have a few regular not-quite-20-somethings here. Beautiful Ace, Maddie, and Mazza come to mind. You'll fit right in. There was a teen thread somewhere around here, but I don't know if it's active anymore.

I've been struggling with my weight since I was young, and with so many late-teen forums that discuss diets gearing toward eating disorders, I've found this site to be actually helpful and supportive.

welcome here. I'm not a teenager but well.... early of 2x (21) so i guess we aren't any much different. ^^ Have a great time around here and enjoy yourself. :)
