I'd like to introduce myself. I'm Jennifer. I am 36 years old. I am a cancer survivor. I know that I use food as an emotional tool. I also know I am slowly killing myself. I want so much to change. I am hoping with support from friends on here and determination I can change my life for ever.

Hello Jennifer and welcome to 3fc's! Congratulations on being a survivor; it's a very wonderful thing.

I don't know how much weight you're looking to lose; but please be patient with yourself. Whatever you lose will be to your benefit and you don't want to get discouraged if you don't reach your goal in six months.

Thanks so much for your response. You are an inspiration. I have 112lbs to lose. Seems like that reality is a far one away. Still I am sick of my currently reality. Thanks again for your words of encouragement:-)

You can do it! Just take it a day at a time. I started on Jan 1st and plan to lose 75 pounds by 8-15-09 (my birthday) Do you have a certain plan you are following? Welcome to 3FCs.
